| GROWING MEDIA |
Use a potting mix that retains moisture well such as
the following: 6 parts seedling bark, 1 part perlite, 1 part
charcoal and 1 part chopped sphagnum moss or coarse peat. The plants
will grow well if mounted on cork or tree fern slabs if care is
taken in watering. |
| FERTILIZER |
Feed weak weekly a growth mixture that (1/4 to 1/2
teaspoon fertilize per gallon of water). In early spring you might
change to 2 feedings of a growth mixture and 1 feeding of a blossom
buster mix until buds are observed. You could also use a balance mix
such as 20-20-20 through out the year feeding weak weekly. |
| POTS |
Plastic pots are best for this plant because of its
moisture requirements. Keep plant in 3 to 4 inch pots and do not try
to repot. |
