GROWTH HABITS Sympodial epiphyte
ORIGIN Mexico through Panamo
BLOOMING SEASON April through June
LIGHT Moderate to moderately bright 2000 to 2800 fc
TEMPERATURE Warm with winter lows  to 15 degrees C (59 degrees F) and summer highs of 32 degrees C (90 degrees F).
HUMIDITY Will grow at 50% to 60% humidity but will do much better at 80% to 90%
WATER Keep evenly moist year round.
GROWING MEDIA Pot in moss or use a potting mix that retains moisture well such as the following: 6 parts seedling bark, 1 part perlite, 1 part charcoal and 1 part chopped sphagnum moss or coarse peat.
FERTILIZER Feed weak weekly (1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per gallon water) when new growth is seen in the spring, a growth mixture. In October till the following February feed a blossom buster mixture.
POTS Use plastic pots.
NOTES The plant is available at times from Woodstream Orchids and Countryside Orchids.  The plant has 3 inch showy flowers.
