TEMPERATURE Winter night 10 degrees C (50 degrees F) with a 10 degree to 15 degree F rise during the day. Summer high should not be over 27 degrees C (80 degrees F)
HUMIDITY 60% to 70%
WATER During late spring and summer growing period keep well watered. During fall and winter let plant get just about dry before watering.
GROWING MEDIA A good mix for this plant is 3 parts bark, 1 part
chopped sphagnum moss, 1/2 part perlite, 1/2 part charcoal.
FERTILIZER Feed weak weekly (1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon per gallon water) of a growth promoting fertilizer during the spring and summer growing period. From mid Sept. till mid Feb. feed a blossom buster fertilizer at the same rate as the growth mixture.
POTS Plants can be grown in pots because the
inflorescense is erect with this species.
