| HUMIDITY |
Will grow at 50% to 60% humidity but will do much better at 75 to
85% |
| WATER |
Keep well watered from the appearance of new growth
till the leaves start to yellow in the fall. When the leaves start
to yellow let the plant go dry till new growth is seen in the
spring. |
| GROWING MEDIA |
Use a potting mix that retains moisture well such as
the following: 6 parts seedling bark, 1 part perlite, 1
part charcoal and 1 part chopped sphagnum moss or coarse peat.
Or you can use tree fern fiber if watered often or use NZ sphagnum
moss. |
| FERTILIZER |
Feed weak
weekly a growth mixture (1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per gallon water). In
early spring you might change to 2 feedings of a growth mixture and
1 feeding of a blossom buster mix until buds are observed could also
use a balance mix such as 20-20-20 throughout the year feeding weak
weekly. |

Plastic or clay pots can be used or you can mount the
plant or grow in a basket. |
| NOTES |
The plant has a pendent flower spike and a lemon mint
fragrance. The flower spike can have up to 50 flowers. The plant is
available from Orchid Connection and several other dealers. |
