HUMIDITY Will grow at 40 to 50% humidity but will take humidity levels of 80 to 85%
WATER Keep moist during the spring and summer growing season, in the fall after the new grow(s) have matured keep dryer but not to the extent that the pseudobulbes shrivel.
GROWING MEDIA Some media that drains well such as the following:  6 parts medium size bark, 1 part perlite, 1 part medium size charcoal, 1 part coarse peat moss or chopped sphagnum moss. This plant will also do well mounted on a tree fern plaque. This plant does not like repotting so repot only when absolutely needed.
FERTILIZER Feed weak weekly a high nitrogen growth formula (1/2 teaspoon per gallon water of a urea free mix).  Change to a blossom booster fertilizer in late summer or early fall till the growth is mature and water id decreased then feed a blossom booster mix at the same ratio as stated above.
POTS Clay pots are good for this plant but watch that the plant does not dry out during the growth period.  The clay pot will keep the top-heavy plant from falling over.
