Some media that drains well such as the
following: 6 parts medium size bark, 1 part perlite, 1 part
medium size charcoal, 1 part coarse peat moss or chopped sphagnum
moss. This plant will also do well mounted on a tree fern plaque.
This plant does not like repotting so repot only when absolutely
needed. |
| FERTILIZER |
Feed weak
weekly a high nitrogen growth formula (1/2 teaspoon per gallon water
of a urea free mix). Change to a blossom booster
fertilizer in late summer or early fall till the growth is mature
and water id decreased then feed a blossom booster mix at the same
ratio as stated above. |
| POTS |
Clay pots are good for this plant but watch that the
plant does not dry out during the growth period. The clay pot
will keep the top-heavy plant from falling over. |
