Where are you?
Who are you?
I know you're somewhere out there
And when I find you I'll know
That you're the one
Who's been filling up my dreams.
But where will I find you?
Where shall I look first?
I've searched all the streets and it seems
That you're hiding away
Fighting to be freed of me.
I'm about to give up when I stare out to sea
And I see him staring at me;
But as I move closer I know he's not you.
If he were the right one I'd know
So I search a little more.
But as the sun sets in the west
And you still haven't shown up
I know that today I've lost the fight,
Tomorrow I'll try again
But now I'll just have to settle down
For another lonely sleepless night.
