I'm No-One
Wandering down the path
Heading nowhere
I realize I'm no-one
I'm just another person
Still searching for the truth
Not knowing what route to take
Or what decisions to make
To make me stand out
And be someone.
Inside I scream and shout
To be noticed;
Distinguished from the rest;
Placed among the best.
But outside it's just me
As plain and unimportant
As any human could be
Just another number
Among the millions passing by
Unrecognized by the others
Who brush against my skin
And keep going
As if to rub it in
And remind me
I'm no-one.
