The picture of you I have in my mind
Makes it hard to leave everything behind
I keep on remembering and thinking
With my heart slowly sinking
Of the time we spent together
And of how I thought that never
Would we be apart again
Now I sit here in pain
Cause it looks like we're through
I'm losing you
I watch you slipping through my fingers
While your gentle touch still lingers
There's memories of you all over the place
Like the rose that still stands in my vase
And the cute teddy bear who sits on my bed
And all the other things that remain in my head
I thought you were feeling happy with me
But maybe I loved you too much to see
That you were becoming bored
All the bad signs I ignored
Now I sit here upset
Praying you don't leave me just yet
Tears fill up my eyes
As any hope I had dies
I thought maybe in time you would love me too
But deep down I don't know if this could ever be true
I ask myself if you end it, will I get over you
I don't have a clue
All I know is I just don't wanna lose you
