Silverfall Weyr was destroyed by a massive Earthquake that killed more than half of its inhabitants. The remaining riders flew to a new site, free from earthquakes and named it Moon's Shadow Weyr.

The construction of Moon's Shadow Weyr has begun. It has now been 3 sevendays since that fateful night when Silverfall Weyr was destroyed. T'lay resumed the position of Weyrleader and everyone moved into the twenty scattered caves that surrounded the extinct volcano's basin. The time is 5 turns before the 9th Pass and Moon's Shadow Weyr scarcely has enough dragons to score but a few clouds of thread. All of the People at Moon's Shadow Weyr are slowly recovering from the loss of so many people and dragons that couldn't escape in time.
