Nynali's ability to see and communicate with the spirits of the dead seems to really have affected his personality. He almost seems to prefer the company of those long dead, rather than those living. He ventures into the underworlds often for long periods of time and without warning. Sometimes he even seems to be confused as to whether the individual with which he is communicating is in fact dead or alive...
