'White Lightning' being 100 proof, the remaining founding members, Trey, Keels
and Abe, decided to speed up the fermentation process with Omer on guitar and
backing vocals. This addition to the process has strengthened the foundation for
what has become the finest Moonshine since the good ole days when Earl himself
was a connoseur.
Currently, four distinguished brewmasters make MOONSHINE EARL:
Trey leads process as he built the still and follows a secret family receipe handed
down from his Grandaddy, Earl. On lead vocals and guitar, Trey draws from
his life experience as well as from fictional characters when it comes to song writing.
Using humor to fuel the mash, Trey aims towards pure satisfaction when it comes
to distilling these unique spirits.
KEELS maintains the still with rhythms that are founded in the deepest roots
of rock. A Master at keeping the distilling on track, KEELS secures the still with
'Red Dog Chop'. He provides enough dynamics to lift the music without letting
the fire get too hot, which might wreck the still.
Abe occasionally stirs the brew, making certain that excess fermentation does
not occur - Grandaddy almost flatlined one day after drinkin' a brew that
fermented too much! Abe adds his unique style of bass riffs that ensures an
eerie brew which which tends to creep up on those rookie consumers!
Finally, Omer is responsible for the critical process of converting the mash into
alcohol. This process is what makes MoonShine Earl stand out from all the other
posers who are trying to replicate the fine spirits of this truly original, eclectic band.
