One of the best ways to promote your writing, is through the Internet. Below you'll find links to a few great places to advertise your presence in the world of publishing. Romance Specific: A great place to list your novels. They offer a separate domain for each sub genre of romance. This site features a first timers club where you can get your first novel listed. It also includes an author spotlight and author of the month. Check out their Romance Author Promotion Program! Add your Web site to their Romance Directory. Add your link to their directory. If you write poetry, you can submit to them. Get your name listed here and an interview. Get an author page here that will list your available novels, a picture and bio of yourself. Check out their Author Services page!Not all the services are free, but you can add your URL to their links page for free. Hey, every little bit helps! A great place to purchase promotional items such as bookmarks,keychains, notepads, bumper stickers, ect. Other Places: This is an excellent site for displaying your novels. Plug in the ISBN # from your book and Authors Den will automatically link to the major bookstores your book is sold in, such as Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble.com. Link to your own Web site or any Web site where your book is available. You get space to upload samples of your work ... short stories, novel excerpts and poetry. A new site, but still a great place to spread your name. You get a page with links to your Web site, a bio and links to places to purchase your novels. Plus a special section to announce news and events in your life. If you place their tiny logo on your home page, BitBooks will list you in their online directory of authors. Besides a place to list your books, this site has all kinds of neat little things to do! You can get your work critiqued, proofread, and into print. Add your home page URL to this site. You can also make your Web page a featured site for a small fee. Yep! You guessed it. Another place to list a URL to your novels. They claim not to accept all links, but don't let that stop you!
