Rules
DO NOT STEAL!! I PUT ALOT OF TIME AND EFFORT INTO MAKING THIS POEM!!Judgement
Walking up the narrow steps
At my life’s end
Waiting for judgment
Only God could send
As my life
Was read before me
Head bent down
Chains to enfold me
The chains tightened
As I tried to flee
Turned my head
As the gate closed on me
Everything went dark
The sky turned black
I was left to rot
Where I sat
Crimson regret
Poured from me
As I yelled
My unheard screams
If only I had been different
If only I could’ve changed
Then the life I once led
Wouldn’t have come to an end.
Terror rose
Climbing my spine
Until I saw Mary
The virgin mother of mine
“You did well”
She smiled kind
A new after-life
I was sure to find.
I did my time
Though it passed by slow
As I flew to Heaven's gate
I waved "Bye" to the crow.
I flew on
Though he glared at me
I understood
Evil’s tragedy
Now I watch
As a little girl cries
Smiling slightly
While, unseen, I put her hands in mine.
