| Title: Unconfessed Confessions By: Veronica Serra I've seen you in my dreams, Seen your every feature, Every nuance in crystal clarity. So much it seems, I feel as if I've known you, My entire life. I want to make you laugh, Make you smile, Be there for you when you cry, Snuggle you close during winter's cold, Walk barefoot, hand in hand, Along beached of sun warmed sand. Anything, As long as it's with you. Alas, I do not know how, To express this bond to you. What can I do, That will make you see? You are my prince, My shining star, The one my heart has searched, So long to find. Written: August 2002 |
| Title: Wishes on the Wind By: Veronica Serra A clear, sunny day The crisp autumn breeze Ruffles a young girl's hair She closes her eyes The wishes of her heart Open for the heavens to see Her deepest desire Lifted from her soul Carried to the beyond In wishes on the wind Years go on Time takes it's course The same young girl Now a woman fair Still stands eyes closed The breezes ruffling her hair Her heart ever still Open to the heavens Her desires may have changed But she will forever Make wishes on the wind.
