Today

this is now
and forever will be

one at a time
another step your doing fine
Today yes today
the crimes we have will always be certain
another dog lays down in the street
waiting for a tire to run him over
Dog days of summer
have passed
the street is empty
like my glass
Today only today
do I make this offer
To the wind, to the rain
If you can catch me
and do it without commotion them I'm yours
Today.
