Tom's Says Love With Mel Is Developing
Tyrone Tom has revealed that the love that blossomed between him and fellow Big Brother contestant Mel has continued since they left the house. He also confirmed that Nick Bateman had a mobile phone in the house, a rumour never confirmed at the time.
"He had a phone with him," he confirmed, "because he could tell me about the Concorde disaster the day after it happened." Tom was speaking at the National Ploughing Championships, where he was the star attraction. However, he said he is likely to dump his farming background for a TV career. As for his relationship with Mel, he said: "I think it's more than a spark at this stage. She is definitely coming over. In fact, all of those involved in the programme are coming over. They just couldn't get over the reception I received when I got back home ? none of them received that.
