New arrival: It's 10:15am and Anna gets up. At 10:30am it's Mel's turn to get up. Anna is working out the shopping list and discussing the extras that people want. Anna and Mel are chatting dreams.
Mel said, 'We had a fox come in again last night. The chickens were going mad'.
Anna said, 'We should have 6 or 7 quid each for treats'.
Darren said to Mel, 'What time did you got to bed last night?' Mel said, '6 - 6:30, I was chatting with Tom'. Darren said, 'You will get run down. You should know better'.
Anna emerges from the Diary Room with the task over the next 4 days, when a klaxon goes off a picture will appear above the garden fence. It will be pictures of original 10 members of the household plus the new one. They have a minute to see who it is before it is removed. 100 faces will appear and they have to remember in which order they appeared. They will appear at any time apart from 03:00am to 09:00am. They are not allowed to get one head wrong. They bet 50% of their budget.
Mel said to Anna, 'I think the press are monsters. When you get out it will be great until you see what the press has written about you'. Anna said to Mel, 'It's going to be hard for the new person. They've probably watched the show and know more about the people in here than we do. They will have an advantage. They know things that have gone on, that we don't. They might say things to you like. You're a lot better than I thought you'd be'. Mel said, 'God, that would be horrible. I think it will be a boy at the end'. Anna said, 'Maybe a boy will win'. Then Mel said, 'It will be unfair if a girl enters the house, when a boy got evicted'.
At 12:15pm, the klaxon went off, and Caroline's head bobs along the top of the fence.
Darren said, 'It seems like years since I've seen Sada'.
Anna said, 'We can have mince burgers and veggies for tea later'.
Darren talks about frozen fish being better than fresh.
Anna said to Mel, 'Look what Nichola left me'. Anna showed Mel a teddy bear. Anna said, 'I had it under the duvet past night. It's really sweet'.
Mel said to someone, 'I used to talk to myself a lot. One day, I was so engrossed in my conversation, my boyfriend thought I was mad'.
Darren said to Anna, 'Have you worked out Nick's motives yet?' Anna said, 'I think he wanted to get everybody on his side'. Darren said, 'Not to win it'. Anna said, 'Yes, to win it'. Darren said, 'How the hell could they chose something like that? He must have went through the same tests that we did. He must be ok. He just wanted to win it. One day, he put his hand over my mic and started to speak. I said to him what the hell are you doing?' Anna said to Darren, 'Mel said, every time she spoke to Tom, Nick would turn up'.
Mel comes out from talking to BB, she said, 'It's a girl. Everytime we talked about the new person, he would say she. In the end he had to admit it. I asked why it was a girl. Big Brother said they picked the right person for the group not just what sex they are'.
Mel said, 'We can open the door and say hello human being'. Anna said, 'I think she will be mature. We can't ask her anything about her last 4 weeks'.
Darren said, 'We should have a competition to see if Mel goes to bed before 12:00am'. Darren then said, 'They don't know if the new person is coming in today or tomorrow'. Craig said, 'It's a young lady then'. Darren said, 'A woman'. Tom said, 'God help her'. Anna said, 'I think she will be about 40'. Tom said, 'She will either be totally quiet or over the top'.
Mel and Anna are tidying up the girls room. Ready for the new arrival.
Mel and Anna are talking about the film American Psycho and how disturbing it is. Especially if you're a girl.
Mel said, 'The chickens are getting hungry. That's why they keep getting out. They are also getting quite aggressive'.
At 3:45pm, everyone is sunbathing and Craig is doing his washing.
Darren said, 'The chickens are getting better now but, I'm waiting for the vet to get back. We aren't to feed the chickens banana skins or the veggies because of the pesticide on them'.
Darren is playing the guitar and humming to himself for over an hour. Mel and Craig are talking about monkeys and dogs.
Darren is called to the Diary Room. When he came out he said, 'Big Brother was asking what the mood was like in the house'.
Mel said to Tom, 'I will give you a massage later on'.
Darren is singing the I want to go home blues.
At 7:50pm, the newbie arrives. She said, 'Hi guys, I've got goodies for you. My names Claire. Even if you hate me, I've got chinese for you'.
Darren said, 'I think I know her from somewhere. When I saw her I thought, shit'.
They sit around on the sofas eating the chinese meal and drinking wine.
Someone asked Claire, 'Are you a vegetarian?' Claire said, 'No. But I have a wheat allergy'.
Anna explained the new task to Claire.
Claire said, 'Have you got an iron?' Tom said, 'No. But we have a mangle'.
Anna said to Claire, 'Do you live in London?' Claire said, 'Just out side'. Then asks the group where they are from.
Tom said, 'I take it you were grabbed at short notice'. Claire said, 'I was going tonight. I got the call and was told they were outside my house'.
Claire said, 'What do you do when you can't watch TV?' Tom said, 'You get used to it'. Craig then said, 'We've had a couple of videos since we've been in here'.
Everyone is explaining the sort of daily routine within the house.
Craig said , 'The best time is when we sit around that table and slag each other off'.
Anna said, 'Friday nights are party night'.
Clair said, 'I'm gonna get all the crappy jobs to do then'. Mel said, 'Not going to lie to you. Yeah'. Anna said, 'You can do the chicken pen tomorrow'. Tom said to Claire, 'Have they told you about the rota for massages?' Craig said, 'If Tom gets horny, run. We all had a security check when we came in here. If you think it's a gun in my pocket'.
Claire said, 'Have you got any plans for the night?' Darren said, 'Eat, go to the pub and Mel will be up until 5:00'.
Craig said to Claire, 'When was the last time you had sex?' Claire said, 'I don't think I'm allowed to answer that'.
Tom said to Claire, 'Do you have any piercings or tattoos?' Claire said, 'Only 1 in my belly button and my Mum doesn't know about it'.
They told Claire about the topics they have discussed. They also tell her that the only time they have music is when it is pumped through for the live show on Friday.
