Life after Nick: It's 10:10am and Anna and Mel get up. Mel said to Anna about Nick, 'He made a bee-line for certain people. I trusted him. I confided in him. He's probably told other lies about people in here but, he will be fine outside'. Anna said, 'Yes, silver tongue'.
At 10:40am the batteries are being changed over.
10:45am and Nichola is up.
Anna said, 'Fancy, a new person coming into the house'. Mel said, 'I know, it's disgusting'. Anna said, 'New game, new ideas'.
Mel was talking to Anna about her fitness regime.
Anna said, 'Leaving the house will be like the start of Willy Wonka'.
Craig is talking to some of the housemates. He is describing how you can set up a company selling sex aids and con people out of their money. All you have to do is put the check in an unusual company name, hoping that people don't cash the cheques. (I missed the start of this conversation due to poor audio feeds. He may have been talking about the movie Shooting Fish).
The housemates are practising their song for later on. Darren sang, 'Go on now go, walk out the door boy and don't come back any more'.
Tom said, 'It would be interesting to come back in 10 years time, just for a week'. Anna said, 'Yeah! But the world could have exploded by then'. Darren started singing, 'Always look on the bright side of life'.
Anna and Craig are talking about the effects of being in the Big Brother house. Anna said to Craig, 'What's been the hardest thing for you while you've been in here?' Craig said, 'Boredom. My life is so different outside of here. I never had this much time to think about things'. Anna said to Craig, 'It's strange thinking about Nick. You miss him in here'. Craig said, 'You felt bad about Nick, but they gave us a film and chocolate cake and you didn't feel so bad about it'. Anna said, 'If you were out this week, will you go out?' Craig said, 'I'll be out every night this week'.
Craig said to Tom about the situation with Nick, 'We were put in a very hard position but something had to be done'. Tom said, 'Yes. At least we all said something'.
It's 4:00pm, someone said, 'Was that someone shouting?'
Tom said to Mel,, 'I would get naked and stroke them and stand naked in front of them, but not make sexual contact?' Mel said, 'So you would snog, grope, get naked and not do anything? Well, Big Brother wouldn't show it all anyway. They would show it later and it would look all innocent. My only concern is that it would look cheap. So many people watching, it would cheapen myself. I'd go back to work and see my Mum. She would say, what the hell did you do that for? You embarrassed somebody as well as yourself. But I hope not'. Mel said to Tom about her boyfriend, 'One of the last things he said was if I see you with anybody on that programme'.
Darren said, 'It's getting easier for the cameras to follow people around the house now'. Tom said, 'It's become more intimidating'.
Ann had been in to see BB. She announced to everyone, 'Nominations will be a bit later than usual'.
The housemates are fervently practising their song that has to be performed at 7:15pm.
Mel is in the kitchen and getting very squemish about gutting a fish.
At 8:15pm, Craig went in to see BB to check what time nominations will be announced. He returned and announced, 'Nominations will be at 9:15pm'.
Darren said, 'I'll have to do my Anna speech tomorrow'. Anna said, 'What's that?' Darren said, 'My I wanna go home speech'.
Anna said about Nick's leaving, 'He had no time to prepare. Just said he had to be out in 15 minutes'.
The 8:00 show: The show begins at 8:30. They do a recap of events surrounding Nick's departure from the house. Davina did an interview with him. The result is announced. Craig polled 28% of the vote and Nichola polled 72% of the vote. So, Nichola is this weeks evictee.
Back at the house: Nichola is concerned that no one will be there for her when she leaves the house. Mel said to Nichola, 'What can I do?' Nichola said, 'Just stand there and look gorgeous'.
Craig said to Tom and Darren, 'I can't explain this feeling mate, it's so, so, good'. Craig is in the garden dancing around. The music is still begin pumped through to the house. Craig is signing a t-shirt.
The 11:00 show: It's just about time for Nichola to leave but, they recap on her last hour and a half in the house.
Craig is seen picking her up and carrying her to the bedroom saying, 'I want to be the first to snog her'.
Nichola is seen stood with her back to Darren and he's got his arms around her. She tells him, 'I think the world of you'.
It's time for Nichola to leave the house. She hears the countdown. The door opens and she emerges from the house. She looks stunning. Craig is shouting to his Mum. Nichola greets her Mum and gives her a big hug.
She is then greeted by Davina. Davina said, 'You're wearing your knitted thing'. Nichola is presented to the press. She is beaming. She gives the press a twirl. Signs autographs for fans. Nichola is obviously taken back by her reception. Davina said, 'I'm not gonna talk to her. I've given up'. Nichola greets her friends in the studio. Davina is whinging because she is carrying Nichola's suitcase. Nichola greets Craig's family. She is pretty pissed up.
Nichola said, 'I was ready to leave the house'. The rest of the conversation evolved around Nick's departure. One thing that was very odd. They didn't show her who nominated her out this week. (I wonder if it is anything to do with the possible mix up with Tom's nomination).
Finally, Caggy comes out to greet her. Caroline looks fantastic. She gives Nichola a huge hug. Then Davina took Nichola outside. She told her that she was going to be given 6 weeks training with a circus company. Nichola was thrilled to bits. She hugged Davina, who looked a little embarrassed.
I also caught Frontal which was on at 12:00am. Caroline and Andy were appearing on it. Andy looked totally lost. Not very comfortable at all. Caroline on the other hand, was taking it all in her stride. The funniest moment was when one of the presenters said to Andy, 'This girl wants to ask you something'. The girl said, 'I wonder if you could give me back the �3 I spent on my mobile voting you out?' Andy wasn't best pleased with what she said. Instead of laughing it off, he stuck 2 fingers up at her, right in her face. The girl gave Caroline a kiss and a hug and said, 'I liked you'. That was the last we saw of Andy.
Back at the house part 2: The housemates are shouting at the crowds gathered outside. You can hear Nichola and Caroline shouting in the distance.
Tom said, 'What a head fuck'.
Anna said, 'Oh! What a night' Craig followed on with, 'late December back in 63. That was a song wasn't it'.
Darren said of Nichola, 'She was really talented'.
Mel said, 'We've opened ourselves up to the public'.
Darren said, 'We should all sleep in the one room tonight'. Mel said, 'Fucking mad night'.
Anna and Darren are discussing their needs. Darren said, 'I could do with a bottle of spirit. Anna said, 'I want some Stella'.
Craig said, 'Nichola will be on cloud 9 right now. A natural high. Caggy will be waiting there with a big spliff for her'. Craig went on to talk about Nick. He said, 'Nick was very supportive of everyone. This place brought the worst out of him'.
Anna said, 'I really wanted to walk 3 weeks ago. I go through really shitty says and stuck it out. Just the feeling that we are getting through this as a group and as individuals is good. It's nice, the fact that no one has walked. None of us love it in here'.
Tom said, 'Well, I've met people I wouldn't normally meet. It's quite amazing'.
Craig is talking about his business again.
The housemates talk about Nichola again. Someone said, 'I expect she'll be off to a club. Mel said, 'She'll be going all night'. Anna said, 'I'll be going out'. Tom said, 'If I turn up to a club with my entourage and they say we were not good enough. Then I would tell them to get lost'.
Darren said, 'If I get nominated, I want to go'. Tom said, 'It's a fucking head rush'. Darren said, 'I'll just wanna go home'.
It's 1:30 and Anna is doing her exercises in the bedroom. At 1:50 she goes to bed.
Craig said, 'I'm quite open with my friends and things. I do tend to bottle things up. This isn't the right place to open'. Mel said, 'We haven't got a clue what's going on outside. It's the first time in 4 weeks that we've heard anything'. Craig said, 'It's been odd not having to take responsibility. It's finding the right balance'. Mel said, 'Yu look at friends that have had a balanced upbringing. Your not so envious. They haven't struggled. I've had to work hard for everything I've got'.
Darren and Craig are in the bedroom. They were talking about Mel. Craig said, 'I think she fancies me and, she is on about going out for a drink with me after the show'. Darren was agreeing with him.
Tom and Mel are chatting about various topics. They said how Darren is a good bloke. How Anna didn't ask many questions at the meeting with Nick , but she handled it very well. Then Mel said she would dance naked for Tom and asked him if he would dance naked for her.
It was an awful day to try and catch a decent conversation. For me anyway. I kept loosing audio and video feeds throughout the day. It was playing up in the wee small hours as well, so I made an early night of it.
I was informed that Mel and Tom were up till about 6:00 but, I couldn't get any sound.
