By this time, the audio/video feed is particularly bad. All I can catch are snippets of conversations. Obviously, the events of the day have exhausted the servers. I do apologise for this.
Mel is in the bedroom with Nick. He is clearly upset. Mel said, 'You can't just walk out. It's going to be hell out there for you. Big Brother is here to help you. Help all of us. It's just got out of control'.
Mel said to Anna, 'I want Nick to stay in the group'. Anna said, 'No. There is no way I want him staying in the group'. All you can hear is Nick crying in the bedroom.
It's 1:50pm, Darren is in the Diary Room.
Darren said to Nick, 'No one is going to trust you. You might as well pack your bag and go. I was using eyeliner to write a telephone number down to give to their (referring to his children) Mum, and Big Brother stopped me and I had to hand it all in. There was you with a pencil and paper all the time'.
Nichola said, 'I felt like punching him. I felt so let down'.
Nick said to Tom, 'It's such a minor thing'.
Nichola said to Nick, 'It's not right that you should stay. I can't trust you. You are sly. I'm not going to leave this house, unless you go. You are living in a dream world'.
Craig said to Nick, 'It will make it hard for us to socialise'. Nichola is adamant that she wants Nick to go.
Mel said to Nick, 'It will be very difficult for you when you get outside, if you do stay. I'll guarantee that you'll be nominated on Monday. It will be easier if you go tomorrow'.
Craig said to Nick, 'I don't think that Nichola and myself should go after your antics'.
Anna said, 'I don't think it's fair that Craig and Nichola have to go tomorrow. Especially when it's due to rules being broken in an underhand way'.
Nichola said, 'I'll go out there and tell them it's been a waste of time'.
They were talking about Nick. Saying that he was getting people to vote for each other and missing him out.
Mel said, 'He'll walk on Friday'.
Darren said to Mel, 'I get the feeling that I don't want to be in the house with people like you. I don't think I can trust anybody anymore'. Mel said, 'I think other things have happened but I can't prove it'.
Darren said to Mel, 'He tried to sway me to vote for Caroline but, I didn't do it'. Mel said to Darren, 'When Craig told me, I couldn't believe half that was going on'.
Mel said to Tom, 'Nick has destroyed his life. I feel so sorry for his family. The press will be hounding him and his family now'. Tom said to Mel, 'They told us this may happen. He's brought it upon himself. I don't think he understands what he has done'.
Mel said about Andy, 'Andy really trusted Nick. I didn't trust Nick at all. I didn't trust Andy either'.
It's 4:45pm. Nick must be preparing to leave the house. He makes an apology to everyone. Then said, 'I wish you all the very best in the future'.
Nick left the house at 5:00pm.
Later on, they are trying to chose a movie to watch later that evening. It came down to chosing between Stigmata and American Beauty. They chose Stigmata.
Craig said to Darren, 'I'm worried he may top himself from the pressure'. Darren said to Craig, 'When he came up to me to say goodbye, I could see the remorse in his face'.
Someone said, 'The 3 that left must be thinking fucking hell, what's going on. They've fucked up the British Big Brother'.
Craig said, 'Nick made me look a right cunt in front of everybody, and made me distrust everybody in the house'.
He then said, 'Nominations should be left this week as somebody has gone'. Everyone agrees. Someone said, 'They won't do that. Tell the public until they have the money off them'.
Tom said about Caroline, 'Caroline felt victimised'. Nichola said, 'It was mean of Nick to put her hopes up all the time'.
The film starts at 8:00pm and the sound feed is cut. Probably for copyright reasons. The film ends at 9:40pm. They seemed to like it. They all start singing 'Magic Moments'. Then discuss the movie.
Nichola said, 'It's taking them a long time to decide what they are doing'.
It's 10:20, Craig is cleaning his teeth.
They are singing songs in the lounge.
Craig has been to see BB and announces, 'A new person will be arriving on Saturday. Big Brother is proud of the way that Nichola and myself have conducted ourselves. He said, it's been bloody hard and they weren't prepared for it. Big Brother is there to support each and everyone of us, including Nick'.
They begin debating if the replacement will be a male or a female.
Nichola said, 'I feel nervous now'. Mel said, 'Our little cocoon has been pierced today'. Anna said, 'We need to make a really big effort for the new person.
Craig said, 'Big Brother was also proud of how we dealt with the situation around the table'.
It's 12:00am. Craig is ordering a full English Breakfast for the morning, in a jokey manner.
Mel, Tom, Nichola and Craig are discussing the new person.
At 1:40am, the cock starts crowing.
Tom said about Nick, 'He said to me Caroline and Nichola, Craig and Caroline, Craig and Nichola'. Mel said, 'What are you on about?' Craig said, 'I felt bad last night'. Mel said, 'I don't think you were a personal target of his'. Craig said, 'I don't know if he had Tom's name on the paper'. Mel said regarding the pen, 'I was called in about it'. Tom said, 'He showed me the night after the eviction'. Craig said, 'He might have shown me on the Friday night. He showed me Caroline's name sometimes but, I've lost track of it'. Tom said, 'I feel bad for letting it go on so long'. Craig said, 'I didn't think he would go to other people about it'. Mel said, 'Andy had a big argument with him about it'.
They chat a bit more about various topics.
At 2:25am, Tom and Mel are playing Canasta. Craig is reading his book.
Craig toddles off to bed but, just before he does, he thanks Mel and Tom for last night.
They continue playing cards and chatting. They also air their concerns for the way that Nick acted and how it had affected everyone.
Mel said, 'I could see how Nick was getting more and more irritable with Craig before and after nominations'. Tom said, 'Was he expecting us to say nothing. He showed me 3 pieces of paper on Sundays. He also said that I was the only person in here he wouldn't vote for'. Mel said, 'I can't handle the way people are lying in here and, how it affects people afterwards'. Mel said, 'If Darren knew I told you he was like that, he'd have hit him and Nichola would have hit him as well'.
Mel went on to talk about Darren and Nichola's bust up. She said, 'Nichola lost it'. Tom said, 'She's very different this week. She's the first person on your mind'. Mel said, 'What are your reasons?' Tom said, 'Some people aren't happy to be in here. You've got to have more than one reason to justify selection. Which is getting harder'. Mel said about Nick, 'It was going to happen sooner or later'. Tom said, 'Somebody had to do it. I feel bad how it has affected other people'. Mel said about Craig, 'He's making my untrustful side come out. He made me think of people in a weird light'. Tom said, 'Big Brother must have heard what I said to Craig. He practically repeated it to me word for word'.
At 4:05am the sound went. Not long after that I dropped off at the keyboard. I was shattered.
I awoke to see an ICQ message flashing at me. I promptly answered it. I asked Marti22 if had missed anything. She reassured me that I hadn't. I told her I was feeling knackered. She told me to get to bed. So I did.
