Chicken fever: It's 10:40am. Anna is called to the Diary Room. At 10:45am, the housemates start to get up. Mel said, 'The vet is coming to see the chickens'. At 11:10am, BB calls everyone to the girls bedroom. Anna and Darren have had bad dreams. The housemates think it's the vet to see the chickens.
Nick said to Mel, 'Big Brother told me to tell you to stop playing with your mic when talking to people'.
Mel said, What's the time?' Someone said, '11:30'. Nichola said, 'Nearly time to have my name read out'
Nick spoke directly into his mic when leaving the room. He said, 'Darren is not wearing his microphone'. Nick then said, 'We should wait until we are given the time by Big Brother, then practice the assault course'. Anna declares, 'I want to practise'.
Craig said to Nick, 'We are half way today. 32 days'.
Nick said to Mel, 'My dream said Nichola and Craig. I told Big Brother'. He then said, 'Nichola will be this time then Craig and Anna'. Darren joined them. Then the conversation changed.
Darren is called to the Diary Room. He is talking to the vet about the chickens. Darren said, 'I had a fear of chickens'. The vet said, 'You had an affair with chickens?' Darren said, 'No, I had a fear of chickens'. They both have a laugh about it. The vet informs him that the chickens will need worming. The housemates will not be able to eat any eggs for a week.
It's 2:55pm. BB calls the housemates to the sofas. They announce that this weeks nominations are in alphabetical order, Craig and Nichola. Nichola said, 'I thought it would be me. I can't get away with screaming at people'. Craig said, 'I will be out this week. It will be a boy because it was a girl last week'.
Darren is teaching Nick how to skin-up.
Darren said to Mel, 'Did you think it would be you this week?' Mel said, 'No. You thought it wasn't going to be you'. Darren said, 'No'. Then Mel said, 'You said it wouldn't be you'. Darren said, 'No, I didn't say that, you're lying'.
Nick said to Mel, 'I will tell you, Craig will survive on Friday. I've seen it all along'. Then Mel hears something. She said, 'What's that?' Then Nick said, 'It's probably one of the security guards talking on the radio'.
Mel goes to talk to Tom. Tom said to Mel. 'Has Nick been talking about nominations?' Mel said, 'Yes'. Tom then said, 'Who's on his list?' Mel said, 'It wasn't him'. Tom said to Mel, 'Why wasn't I on the nominations list this week?' Mel said, 'I don't know'. Then Tom said, 'Maybe because of my cool attitude last week'.
Nick comes out of the Diary Room with the full instructions for the assault course task. Nick said, 'The task is fucking hard. 8 minutes to do one lap each. There are lots of time penalties. We'll do a full run through at 6:00'. Nick said to Tom, 'You my friend are the winner. Leaving here, you are going across the walkway of shame'. Craig said, 'That's terrible'. Nick then said, 'That's how they described it in the papers. Anyway, it was for the first two evictees'.
Mel said to Nick, 'Who will have the first kiss?' Nick said to Mel, 'You are telling me that with your chocolate brown eyes. I know, because I was told by the horses mouth'.
Tom gives Mel a massage on the sofa in front of everyone. He's sat on her back. Craig joins in and begins massaging her arms.
Nichola said to Anna, 'I knew it would be me. It's all up to the public. If I'm not to be nominated next week'. Anna said, 'That's not necessary'. Nichola said, 'You've got to be realistic. I just don't get too attached to things'. Nichola is putting all her energy into finishing her dress/jacket for Friday.
Tom, Nichola, Craig and Mel are discussing the assault course. Who has fallen off what. Tom said to Nick, 'Oh you big wuss'. Mel is moaning about the boys shouting encouragement. Mel said, 'I'm not walking through those tyres'. Craig said, 'If we take our time going through the tyres, we won't incurr penalties'. Then someone said, 'If all the girls fall off the monkey bars, we will only get a 1 minute penalty'. Mel stood up. She had a funny on and said, 'Fuck off'. Craig said, 'Oooooooo'.
6:00pm, everyone goes to the garden to practice the assault course. At 6:10pm, the smoke alarm suddenly goes off. A pan has been left on the cooker and is on fire. BB said, 'Will everyone please stay in the garden until the smoke has cleared'. The kitchen, lounge and dining room area is filled with smoke. Two production staff are sent in and sort the fire out. At 6:25, the housemates are allowed back in the house. Darren said, 'I should go and apologise'. It appears that Darren is at fault, he left the pan on. Darren gets back to preparing the evening meal.
Craig said, 'The sick chicken is Sunday dinner'.
BB announces, 'Tom, this is Big Brother, can you please wash your hands'. Tom had just been to the toilet.
Darren took the sick chicken to the Diary Room. It is being taken away to be looked after.
The group discuss mini series vs films. Then what would you prefer, a good book, a video or dinner with a friend, plus what they like to get up to at the weekends.
Darren is called to the Diary Room. He returned and said, 'There is a new cage for the chickens. The new cage is to house the healthy chickens. Ths sick ones can remain in the old cage. There is also new feed for them. Everyone has to wash their hands after handling/cleaning the chickens. We've got to change them over now. The sick chicken is being looked after by the vet'. Nichola said, 'Awwww it's probably tucked up in bed with a hot water bottle tonight'. Everyone except Nick and Mel go into the garden to sort the chickens out. Nick said to Mel, 'Hmmm.....Darren had that phobia about chickens, now he's kissing them'.
Mel and Nick start discussing next weeks food budget. Nick said, 'We should have �10 each. I can buy 2 packets of cigarettes and something to drink'. He suddenly told Mel, 'I foresaw the future. Me, you and Tom. That's the future. It'll be good. This is how I've foreseen it. Nichola, Darren, Craig, Anna and us 3. Darren is being nice to the girls on purpose. Just so they don't vote him out. Very careful'. Mel said, 'I find him rude. I think his time will be next. Mel said, 'I reckon Tom didn't get any votes today. Anna may have voted against Nichola'. Nick said, 'Against Craig and Tom. It was Caggys legacy to Nichola'.
