Where has all the laughter gone? It's 10:50am and suddenly Nichola said, 'Fucking hell' The housemates wake to find various items in the garden to construct an assault course. It is this weeks' task. They will be given a fixed time to complete the assault course by BB 24 hours before. The group have to set the percentage they wish to gamble for their food bill. Darren said, '50%, fuck it. I can't do monkey bars'. They begin practising on the monkey bars. They agree to gamble 50%. Everyone starts to moan about the fact that BB has instructed that the housemates wear safety equipment at all times while practising. Otherwise, they will incur a 60 second penalty.
Mel said to Nick, 'What were you doing last night?' Nick said, 'Up playing cards and talking about you'. Mel said, 'There couldn't have been much to talk about'.
12:00 mid day, the picture goes.
Mel is talking to Tom about nominations. She said, 'It stands to reason that you will be nominated again this week. Maybe you'll be the new Caroline'.
They are discussing arrangements to Nichola's party tonight. Craig said, 'I think I'll paint my body orange'.
Darren is called to the Diary Room. He has picked up a cake. It's 2:35pm. He gathers the rest of the housemates and they go into the garden and sing 'Happy Birthday' to Nichola. Darren presents the cake to Nichola. It was baked by her Mum. He tells Nichola that the provisions for the party will arrive at 6:30pm for an 8:00pm start. Nichola has a choice of presents. She chooses a uni-cycle. Nichola is going to thank BB.
Mel is questioning Tom again. Nick said to Tom, he is talking about going out on the town together, 'We'll be like the dynamic duo'.
Darren declares, 'I'm really, really,really drained and so hungry'. Darren discusses sharing a packet of Wotsits. Darren then tries to tell an unfunny story of sharing an apple with Sada. Darren moans about blue felt tip pen stains on his trousers. Then Mel and Darren discuss various hairstyles. Darren then goes on to tell of the clothes he wore for his 2 minute BB video. There are pregnant pauses between each of these conversations. Sometimes, it was so quiet, I thought the audio feed had gone, but it hadn't.
Various people in the house wander off to bed for a kip.
7:00pm the party stuff arrives. There are 4 bottles of champagne, orange wigs and other goodies.
They start getting the food ready for the party. Then everyone gets spruced up.
Darren is shouting at the girls, 'Are you ready? Come on girls'. Nichola has got a ballgown and halter top plus a mask. Anna has a sarong and halter top. Mel is wearing an off the shoulder dress. The boys are outside, they must be up to something because they are making the girls wait. Mel said to Anna, 'You should wear skirts. You've got amazing legs'. The boys begin to countdown from 10 - 1. The girls appear from the bedroom. The boys suddenly jump up from the kitchen area all dressed up and everyone sings Happy Birthday. Darren shouts, 'BB can we have some music'. Tom is dressed as a firestarter. Craig has his body painted orange and, is wearing a toga. Darren has a bandana and tie-dyed t-shirt. Nick has a mask and orange t-shirt. Someone wore a cape.
The housemates are sitting down to the spread that they prepared earlier. Nick doesn't look very happy. The group starts to talk about weird sex. Darren said, 'I had a girl go down on me wearing a tongue stud'. It appears he enjoyed it. Craig said, 'I've been to a few orgies in my time. They are arranged by a friend of mine'. Nick said, 'I slept with a mother and daughter. The mother was better. That was 11 years ago'.
The sound suddenly goes. The party seems very, very dull. Everyone decides to pile into the Diary Room. When they emerge, Anna picks up her quitar. Darren is on the uni-cycle. Nichola is dancing around. Anna is playing the guitar and singing. The sound suddenly comes back. Craig bursts into a verse of 'Let me entertain you'. A few more verses are sung, then everyone sits down to eat again. Darren said to Nick, 'Got any cigarettes?' Nick said, 'No'. Darren said, 'Liar'.
Darren wanders out in to the garden. He starts playing on the monkey bars.
Craig said to Mel, 'What are you wearing underneath? You wearing underwear?' Mel said, 'I'm not saying'. Craig then said, 'We'll chase you, corner you'. Someone said, 'That won't be hard in this place'. Then Tom said, 'and shag you like the dog that you are'.
Nichola is sat at the table looking really pissed off. Nick goes to the bathroom and checks the water. He looked up to the camera and said, 'It's not hot enough'.
Most of the housemates are cleaning themselves up. The party appears to have finished. Nichola, Craig and Tom in turn, climb the pole
