Gib Rehtorb: At 10:00am, Craig is in the hot tub and gets out at 10:20am.
At 10:30am, Anna gets up and begins to read her book.
At 10:40am, Craig does the battery change.
It's 10:45am, and Mel gets up.
Craig said, 'We'll have a stir fry tonight. There should be plenty. There will be only 3 of us'.
Craig said, 'I've got this cold sore. I've only had 2 in my whole life'. Mel said, 'Oh yeah! You must be more run down than you think'. Craig then said, 'I reckon Darren's been putting his lips on me when I'm asleep'.
Craig read Mel his sports column. It's about motor racing. He pronounced Grand Prix as 'Grand Pricks'.
Anna said, 'They've put a lot of food in the freezer'. Mel said, 'They've taken away the tofu'. Craig then said, 'It's probably because we keep slagging it off so much'.
At 11:20am, Darren gets up. Craig said to Darren, 'I'll read my story to you'. Darren said, 'I'll read it when I'm on the toilet'.
Mel said to Darren, 'Do you want coffee or a bigger pair of pants'. Anna said, 'Yeah. To get some air round your penis area'.
It's 11:55am, and they are talking about what takeaway they will have if they pass the task. Craig said, 'I don't want to think about it. I may be out tonight'.
Anna said, 'I will never touch cider ever again'.
At 12:05pm, Craig and Mel are talking about motor sports and cars. Mel said, 'I hate red cars. My ex-boyfriend is a motor car geek'.
Mel said, 'My Mum might not come tonight. She is so shy about those types of things but, I won't mind'.
They sit down to a snack at 12:35pm. Craig said, 'Anna that was beautiful'. Anna said, 'I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm stuffed like a stuffed stuffing. I might have a nap'. Anna then said, 'Come on feel my belly'.
At 1:00pm, Mel is in the hot tub. She gets out at 1:10pm because it starts raining.
Craig said, 'I've got about 3 more lines to do of my story, then I'll be finished. I'll be about another 3 hours'.
Darren said, 'I want to get this part in because it's really funny'. He starts reading them out, then types them up.
Mel starts telling her story for the newspaper. 'It's about this medieval monk-like cult called Gib Rehtorb. Their philosophy is no drinking, no smoking, no sex and very clean living. They are constantly washiing themselves. Then a record company starts up a new music style called C-Rap, which uses the monks chants. It becomes a big hit. Then Big Brother starts up. People realise that Gib Rehtorb is Big Brother backwards. People then realise that the monks were totally different to what they thought. They drunk Mingjng cider. They smoked cigarettes but they have to be rollies. They didn't have sex but they thought about it a lot and they never washed. The Big Brother housemates become cult leaders, and those people outside shouting every Friday are our followers'.
At 1:50pm, Anna is going to bed. She said, 'Wake me up in an hour'.
Darren said to Mel, 'Have you got writers' block'. Mel said, 'I never get writers' block. I talk shite too much'.
Darren said, 'Has it rained? The other day when I was in the hot tub I threw a part fag into the garden'. Darren then went looking for the fag.
Darren then said, 'They have filled the freezer'. Mel said, 'Yes. They've put a lot of vegetarian food in there'. Darren said, 'Oh! That probably means that you'll be here next week. I can tell if I'm here next week. Was there any sausages?' Craig shook his head and Mel said, 'No'.
At 2:45pm, Mel said 'I'm going to ask for a pencil sharpener and some more pencils'.
At 3:00pm, they are still working on the task.
Craig said to Mel, 'You know I slobber when I snog'. Mel said, 'No I don't. Only Darren knows that'.
Craig cuts out pictures from magazines for their newpaper.
At 3:40pm, Anna goes to the Diary Room. Anna said to the group, 'Do you want to hear the nomination results on the couch or in the jacuzzi?' Everybody agrees on the couch.
The housemates start looking through magazines for pictures.
Darren said, 'Do not try to obtain Uncle D's phone number. He is sick and tired of hearing your sob stories over the phone'. This is the final piece to Darren's agony column.
The housemates are now compiling their entertainment section. At 5:00pm, they are still working on the task.
Mel said, 'I'm going to stop for a while. I'm getting pissed off with this'. Anna said, 'I'm brainstorming'. With that, Darren and Craig picked her up and carried her from the sofa to the typewriter.
Craig is talking about his cold sore. He said, 'I didn't kiss Claire. I snogged Nichola though'. Mel said, 'That was ages ago'.
Darren is in the garden tending the chickens. He said to the chickens, 'I'm going to get you some more food to eat but, don't tell the others. They told me not to give you any more food. Look at what I've got for you. Keep an eye out who's looking behind me'.
The housemates are discussing the food and films for Saturday night. Craig said aloud to BB, 'Could you possibly phone or fax to get a list of the top 20 videos, so that we can chose one tomorrow?'
Anna is working on the eviction story. They all start singing the Name Song.
Anna said to Darren 'If you get out, you will be eating bread and you will say is that 15p bread, I only like 15p bread now'. Anna said to Darren, 'What has been the best moment?' Darren said, 'Seeing my kids birthday'. Anna then said, 'What has been your worst?' Darren said, 'Thinking about my kids'.
Darren said to Craig about Anna, 'Since we put her on there, she hasn't moved'. Craig said, 'You can have a break when you want but only a 10 minute one'.
Craig said, 'We should ask Big Brother if we can have some cider out of our budget or we'll get high on the glue'. Darren said, 'Big Brother will get back to you'.
At 7:30pm, the girls are getting ready for tonights show. Mel said, 'I don't want to go. I've only got a litle bit to type up for my article. I will do it tomorrow'.
Darren was called to the Diary Room. BB got them a bottle of wine from their budget. Darren returned and said, 'Big Brother thinks we swear too much'. Anna said, 'We were told to be ourselves. It says nothing about swearing'. Darren said, 'May be I shouldn't have said Big Brother give me the fucking wine when I went into the Diary Room'.
Mel said, 'Is anyone in the toilet? I can hear you. Arrghhh...I can smell you. Close the door'.
Mel is running through the procedure of how Davina will announce the nominations.
The 8:30 show: Channel 4 has received so far, a record breaking 2.6 million votes.
Anna is sporting a plain white T-shirt with 10.09.00 and a capital T on the front and back.
Davina prepares to announce who is to be evicted this week. This week Melanie polled 69% of the vote. Davina didn't mention the others percentage votes during the show. I later managed to find them out via a messageboard. Craig polled 13% and Darren 18% of the votes.
Back at the house: Craig said to Darren, 'I'm fucking shaking mate'. Mel said, 'Oh my God. I can't wait to get out of here'. Mel is trying to decide what outfit to wear. Darren said to Mel, 'You are going for the rock chick look'. Darren then said, 'Life in the Big Brother house without Melanie makes no sense'. Mel is still trying to decide what to wear and she is packing her suitcase. Craig suddenly emerges with the packet of cigarettes that he secretly hid about 3 weeks ago. The housemates are stunned.
Mel said, 'I'll wear my leopard skin'.
It's 9:25pm, Craig said, 'We can hear people chanting our names'. Darren said, 'I can't believe that Mel got evicted. I thought fuck'. Darren then said, 'I'm getting into the hot tub in 5 minutes'. Craig said, 'Right in the hot tub we will go'.
There is a lot of net congestion on the webcams.
Mel gives Darren her books.
At 9:45pm, they all climb into the hot tub. Craig said to Mel, 'How are you feeling?' Mel said, 'I can't wait'. They all raise their glasses in a toast to Mel. Mel said, 'I hope you all enjoy your last week. Good luck to everyone'. Craig then said to Mel, 'What's in your mind?' Mel said, 'What the fucks out there'.
At 9:55pm, the music started up. At 10:10pm, Mel is doing her face. The boys are in the girls room chatting. Anna said, 'You could put Zovirax on your eyes, haemorroid cream on you lips'. Craig said, 'I never ever thought I would get this far'. Mel said, 'I'm shitting myself'. They have a joke about nominations. Craig said, 'I nominate Darren and Anna'. Anna said, 'I nominate Craig and Darren'. Mel then said, 'Come on Conrad, you can call me in now. Can I have a cigarette please?' Anna said, 'Should I light it for you? You've got more eye shadow on that eye than that one'.
At 10:20pm, Mel is called to the Diary Room.
Darren let out a huge whistle to the crowd. Anna said, 'What did they say? I think Craig'. Darren said, 'Just one said Anna and it was a woman'. Craig said, 'I wonder what they are saying to her in there. It's a head fuck'. Anna said, '7 more days'. Anna, Craig and Darren congratulate each other for surviving until the last week. Darren said, 'How come we could hear [makes sound of crowd noise] half an hour ago and now we can hear only a couple of people?' Craig said, 'It's because the tape recorder has stopped'. Anna said, 'A few might be able to slip through'. Darren said, 'I can't believe it. Next Friday, we will have to pack all our shit up'. Anna said, 'What are you taking as a momento?' No one really answered her. Craig then said, 'I can pack in 20 seconds. All my clothes are on hangers'. Darren said, 'I want to see my kids at the front'.
Mel returned from the Diary Room at 10:30pm. Someone said, 'What did Conrad say?' Mel said, 'I can't tell you'. Mel then said, 'I told Conrad that I have 4 questions to ask you. Big Brother said what 4 questions? I said I can't think anymore. I'm feeling.....[I didn't catch what she said]. Conrad has such a nice voice. I wanted to know what was happening next week. He wouldn't have any of it. I've got to finish my make up'.
Craig then said to Anna, 'We've put the beds together for you if you feel lonely one night'. Anna said, 'Thanks Craig. I'll come in some nights for a chat'. Craig said, 'This is gonna knock me for 6'.
Anna and Mel are left in the girls room to chat. Anna said to Mel, 'Davina will put you at ease. She will make you feel relaxed. Don't feel obliged to answer everything'.
Craig and Darren are talking about entertainment stories for the task.
Mel is dancing around. At 10:50pm, Mel went to the Diary Room again. The remaining housemates are signing stuff.
