Early morning jitters: It's mid morning in the household. Who's going to be leaving the house today? No one seems that keen to get up this morning.
Caroline and Nichola are having a natter. Caroline said, 'Peace and harmony has gone terribly wrong. In an environment like this, it's a test, and you get contaminated by the people. After you get out of here, you will find your own space to get clean again'.
Darren suddenly declares that he needs an iron. The fashion guru isn't happy with the state of his clothes.
Caroline is chatting wih Anna and said, 'I'm more nervous this week about going out because of Andy. Do you know what I mean?'
BB has had to warn the housemates about writing messages. No one is allowed to pass messages to people leaving the house. Messages are not to be written via any source, even lipstick. No writing is to be done.
Anna is chatting to Darren. She said, 'You can't afford to get attached to any one person in here. I hate you all equally'. With that, they both have a chuckle.
Caroline was cooking and asked about boiling some water. Andy replied, 'If you want it to boil faster, put the lid on. Otherwise, I don't give a fuck!' Mel and Andy giggled. Darren said, 'Are you laughing at Andy or Caroline?' They went quiet.
The witching hour approaches: It's 6:30pm C4 has just shown an advert promoting this evenings vote. They've put together a montage of clips of Andy and Caroline. (I'll have to say a bit more about this in the In My Opinion section).
It is now 8:30pm. I've poured myself a drink prior to the programme. My stomach is churning. C4 aired the heated exchange between Caroline and Craig from Thursday's meeting. Good on them both for standing their ground. Next comes the kiss between Andy and Mel. They show Mel and Darren having a bitch about Nick in the bedroom, where Nick bursts in on them.
Davina made sure she emphasised the relationship. Seems like they want you to vote for the relationship, not Andy. She also revealed that a heavy poster campaign had gone on in Birmingham (Caroline's home town). The poster showed the kiss! With the words, 'Do you want to stop this?' Vote Andy out.
It's 2 minutes until the vote is out. Davina calls the housemates together saying, 'The person who has been voted out this week is..........Andrew'. I must admit I jumped for joy. The percentage share of the vote was astonishing. Andrew polling 32%, and Caroline 68%. Over 1 million people voted ths week.
Back in the house. Nichola and Caroline reckon they need people like them in the group for a bit of fun.
Andy and Mel are talking privately in the bedroom. Nick and Craig are quite subdued. Caroline, Anna, Nichola and Darren are having a ball.
Mel talking to Andy said, 'I'm being totally selfish now. Nick fooled me. He's a fucking cunt. Nick is being so two-faced. Andy said, 'Darren hugged me and I thought fuck off, get off of me'. Mel seems upset and begins to cry. Andy reckons the reason he was voted out was because he was too cocky. Andy said of Caroline, 'She's annoying, noisy, does fuck all and is ugly. I might go out there and get egged or have a load of 14 year olds wanna shag me.' Mel said, 'Fucking hell, she's gonna be in here for ever'.
Davina calls to the housemates. It's time for Andy to leave. The exit door to the Big Brother house opens and out steps Andy with his suitcase in hand. The crowd shout, 'He's going home, Andy's going home'. To the 'Three Lions' tune. He becomes besieged by family and friends.
Andy's interview with Davina: Andy reckoned his best experience was chatting to the people in the house. Asked about what he had learned. He replied, 'I've learned not to be so honest'. Davina tried to ask him about the kiss, but he avoided the issue. They show him a clip from the Diary Room, he said, 'If I get voted out, I'll be gutted'. He then told Davina, that he was surprised to be nominated and evicted.
Davina went on to talk about the split in the household. To which Andy replied, 'I was trying to hold the group together'. Of Caroline he said, 'She is argumentative, obviously people want to see more action'. Regarding the kiss and Mel in general. He said, 'We are so similar. Always doing stuff. Boredom is dangerous. It was also hard to find private space'. Davina then said, 'Do you think she was playing hard to get?' He said, 'Well, she is attractive. Everyone fancies her in the house. She says what she feels'. Davina mentioned Mel's flirtyness regarding Tom. He said, 'I'm gutted'. Davina wanted to know why he was so horny all the time. Andy said, 'Ask my parents'. His Dad replied, 'It's in the water'. She finally asked about the number of condoms he took in with him. He said, 'I took 13 in'. She said, 'How many did you use?' He said, 'None'.
