Are Channel 4 capable of manipulating the viewers?
Was Anna lying?
It's only a quick opinion today. I was watching the BB programme on C4 last night did you all see the semaphore incident?
It showed Mel signalling to Tom, with the caption underneath. "I used to like the sound of sax...."
Then the next shot was of Anna in the girls bedroom with Caroline. Anna said to Caroline, 'I'm sure I saw Mel signal to Tom, "Do you want a fuck?".
These two scenes linked together seems to imply that Anna was lying. Are C4 trying to put her into a bad light? There was no evidence to show that she was reading that signal. Or, even if that was the signal she was talking about. It was just crafty editing.
With regard to the semaphore task, Mel and Tom have been signalling to each other all day practicing. So, it could have been any message that she saw of theirs.
If anyone else has an opinion about this, please let me know on the messageboard.
