In My Opinion

It's sad but true, I have become addicted to Big Brother.  This is my first website and it has consumed my life!

No longer can I go to bed at a reasonable hour.  I find myself with my headphones (after my neighbours tapped one night) cupping my ears, and straining to catch every word that is spoken.  It's hard work when the late night chats are reduced to whispers.

I daren't even think of crawling into bed, until the last of the housemates are securely in theirs.

My main motivation for this site came about through observing the webcasts regularly and viewing Channel 4's nightly 30 minute programmes.  I felt that with all the publicity that C4 had invested in the Big Brother project, they weren't doing it justice.  Those 30 minutes are certainly not representative of the full story of what is happening in the house.

I hope, that if Channel 4 and Bazal take it upon themselves to commission another series of Big Brother, that they show the live feeds over night or at weekends.  Or maybe, they can even do more regular updates during the day of the previous nights events.

Here are my personal opinions regarding the housemates.  If you want to air your views, even if they differ from mine, please don't hesitate to use my messageboard.

ANDY: (Founder member of the Gang of Four).  He is one of my least favourite characters in the house.  He's a scheming, spiteful, smarmy, head-strong arrogant, opinionated person.  I wouldn't want to rely on his vote.  He is all for himself and sod the consequences.  I personally think he is using Mel for his own means.  The kind of fella who would chew you up and spit you out.

ANNA: 'The Singing Nun'.  Feared by Nick, who hasn't got a good word to say about her. This is the bookies favourite.  This cool Irish rose seems ok, and is playing her cards tight to her chest.  She seems a very likeable girl and hasn't exactly rocked the boat yet.  Anna likes to be all things to all people.  Only time will tell if this is true or calculated.  Watch this space.

CAROLINE:   'Caggy'.  What can I say, 'I love ya gal'.  I don't think for a minute that she will stay the course but, my god what a character.  She's a scream (and I'm not just talking about that laugh).  It's definitely a case of WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get).  No holds barred, genuine, caring and not afraid to stand her ground.  The house will be a very dull place in my view, if she goes.  As you can probably tell, she's my favouite.  I think of all the girls in the house, if I was gonna have a night on the piss with any of them, it would be Caggy and Nichola that would be a bundle of fun.  I know she's had a few run ins with folk, but that has to expected from time to time.  Caroline appears to like Nick, those views could change if and when she is voted out.

CRAIG:  Nicknamed 'The Incredible Sleeping Man' by Nick and Andy.  This cheeky scouser has not been embraced by all in the house.  I think I quite like him but, can't make him out.  I haven't exactly heard a lot from him.  Maybe, it's because he does spend so much time in bed.  One things for sure, he's not afraid to confront his critics.

DARREN:  'The Count'.  Obviously a strong family man.  It's taken me a while but, I'm slowly warming to him.  He seems to be the only genuine bloke in the place.  Very warm, up for a laugh, good natured with the girls and, he's a genius, he sussed Nick.  He was pretty quiet at first but seems to be blossoming a bit more.  There is a good relationship building up between him, Caroline and Nichola.

MELANIE:   (A founder member of the Gang of Four).  Definitely one of the boys, and my least favoured female.  She's two-faced.  Doesn't like criticism and likes to have her own way.  She sees herself as the leader of the girls pack.  I don't think she is personally that strong.  She needs to be around others to gain strength  Very attention seeking.  Her relationship with Andy is a farce.  I can see it coming, if Andy goes, she will make her next move on Tom.  Another oddity about Mel is the fact that she is in with all the scheming that Nick does but, she only warned Darren about him and no other housemates.  I wonder why that is?

NICHOLA:   Another one of my faves.  A WYSIWYG yet again.  I can see her stuck in the middle of the Healing/Green fields at Glastonbury with a spliff.  She has a very pleasant nature and, has jelled very well with Caroline and Darren.  Sada's eviction had a very bad effect on her.

NICHOLAS:   (The leader of the Gang of Four).  'Nick Dastardly'.  Another hated character of mine, but probably the most skillful player of them all.  When it comes to being two-faced and manipulating, there is no one better than him.  He likes to think he has total control and can psycho-analyse everyone through a barrage of questions.  He could be in for a shock whenever he comes up for eviction and the nation decides his fate.

THOMAS:   (Newest recruit to the Gang of Four).  He of the deeply sexy Irish accent, gorgeous eyes and nice butt.  Hmmm.....I used to like him.  I'm not so sure now.  He has joined the late night chat brigade and is beginning to show a not so nice side to his nature.  He is far too softly spoken.  It's terribly hard to pick up what he says.  He's definitely one to watch.

SADA:   Sadly, no longer a housemate.  She became the first evictee.  I quite liked her.  She was very calming.  When she was pitched against Caroline for eviction, I couldn't bring myself to vote, because I liked the pair of them.

HMMMMM.......THAT RELATIONSHIP
