Darren was seen presenting an award at the Disney Kids' Awards Final 2000, shown on Disney Channel yesterday. He presented the award for the Best Disney TV Show.
He took his children, except for the baby, who wasn't too well.
Former Big Brother contestant Darren Ramsey has launched a new project aimed at
helping parents to get advice when they experience family problems.
The father of three young children spoke at the launch of the Parents Together,
a project organised by the National Family and Parenting Institute.
It marked a rare appearance by the former Big Brother contestant, who hasn't
been in the limelight as much as some of his former housemates.
In his 20-minute address to parents and children at the Connex Creche at
Victoria railway station in London, Darren spoke about his time in the Big
Brother house and how he had missed his own children.
He told the audience that he had received counselling while in the house as he
struggled to cope with missing his kids.
The Parents Together project also involves One Plus One and the BBC, who are
screening programmes about parenting on BBC2 over a 10-week period.
The project aims to answer the need for help and advice that all mums and dads
experience at one time or another as research shows that one in three parents
don't know where to go for help when they have family problems.
