What is Wicca?

For many hundreds of years Witches have been associated with evil, satan and heathens. This misconception originated in the 15th century, generated by the church, to convert worshipers of nature based religions. Unfortuneately this fear was carried through time and still exsists today in many places.

In reality though Wicca is a peaceful, balanced way of thinking which advocates connecting with the divine and nature. Wicca is an appreciation and understanding of nature and all its precious gifts. Wiccans believe in the power of the earth and the blessings of the moon and sun. We live by the seasons and the cycles. To be a witch is to heal, teach, give, protect, love and seek. It is a belief system based on the old ways of the Celts. We accept we are only part of the universe, not the centre of it.

Witchcraft is

* A spiritual system fostering free will (ourselves and others).
* Encourages continued learning throughout the course of ones life.
* Promotes an understanding of the earth and nature.
* Recognises the divinity in all things.
* Teaches responsibility.
* Uses the seasons and lunar phases for celebration and
   Worship.
* Practices healing, harmony, love, wisdom and creativity.
* Believe in the one spirit, Goddess and God, in all things.
* Respects the elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water in nature
   and contained in our lives.
* Strongly believe in religious freedom for ALL no matter
   what their belief.
* Live by the creed "If it harm none, do as ye will".

Witchcraft is not

* A cult.
* Devil worship or satanism.
* Controling the will of others.
* Does not involve sacrifice of animals or people.
* Does not involve hexing or cursing another.

Remember the three fold rule -:

                                    Whatever you send out
                                    you get back by three

This applies for good and ill.

What is Magick?

Magick is finding your connection with the universe. It is the living balance, the flow of life and your force in the flow. Magick is in the trees, the seas, the stars everywhere! Magick is truth, happiness, laughter and wonder. Magick is real, it exsists, it works. Magick is the soul, the essecnce, the power to create. Magick heals, loves, dreams, fills the human heart. Magick is the power to believe in something you cannot see, yet you feel it, everyday, in everything around you, in all parts of life.
