Mercury - God of Eloquence, skill, trade and theiving. He was herald and messenger of the Gods. Mithras God of light and truth. He was popular among soliders as he was seen as the protector of warriors. Neptune - God of water and the sea. Saturn - God of agriculture. Aurora - Goddess of dawn. Bona Dea - Earth Goddess of fertility. Worhipped by women only no men allowed during her rituals. Ceres - Corn Goddess. Diana - Goddess of hunting, virginity and the Moon. Flora - Goddess of flowing plants. Juno - Ancient mother Goddess and most important Goddess of the Roman state, wife of Jupiter. Minerva - Goddess of handicrafts. Venus - Goddess of beauty and love. Vesta - Goddess of the hearth and household. She had her own handmaidens, the vestal virgins. |
