music box melody, march 1 '04Her deep crimson eyes spoke of burning ice and frozen flames, the hatred buried so deep inside pouring forth from her gaze. In her small room, on bed she sat, seeing visions of brighter days, while inside she knew that none of these would ever come her way. On a shelf, amoung trivial ornaments, a slight music box lay to rest, the broken chords of piano song no longer the room caress. Window open, breeze trying to sweep away the anger, in vain, for any love that it had spoken could never be uttered again. The demon, once human and formerly divine, turned her glare to the melodic box; lovely memories it used to bring were on the floor, dropped. Girl stood up and stalked to the shelf, silently and dangerously, with quick stroke of rage she knocked over the box for past memories to see. Suddenly, bird song rose up from beyond the windows gaze, demon took to storming over there with box in hand to slay. The bird was a rosey pinkish hue, sitting on a branch; demon smiled so wickedly for bird was still in range. But quietly, it turned it's head, and met the demon girl eye-to-eye, and warbled a sweet note as it's last words before 'twas to die. Demon froze in shock as birdie continued on with it's song, the melody, familiar, yet it'd been listened to not since so long. Demon girl remembered tune she'd so often listened to and loved, and the visions of the past danced in her soul, thanks to a pink dove. The anger in her heart was vanquished and girl flew among the stars, to sing the others pain to some place away so far.
