skull room april 24 '04
He slips between the
Slight caves' walls and
Tries to avoid the dripping
Of the crimson water
Though sometimes
He can't help but let
A drop
Roll down his neck...
His latern held out so carefully
Trying to
Illuminate what
Can never be seen
Because his eyes are closed.
But in his heart,
He hears a crack as he
Enters a larger cavern,
And at the sight that lays in front
Of him,
His breath halts and
The latern timelessly falls
To meet it's end.
A sharp laughter rises from around him
And the walls echo it away
To continue for eternity
The skulls of the room glare gleefully
At their next victim--
"Be one of us..."
And after so long
Soon his flesh will rot away
Leaving nothing but his
Pale white bones
In the far away
Skull-room
