| Hello Friends! Here is a little about our club. We are the Moonlight Stompers 4x4 Club out of Cohoctah, Michigan. We currently have 32 members, with more to join in April. We hold many events through out the year. Most if not all are private events. We also join in events that others organize for the public, Which include but are not limited to Bull Dogs Mud Bogs, Mounds ORV Park, Phil's Sand Drags, and other personally held mud bogs and events. We as a Club hold many fun events which are all family friendly. Some of the events are as follows: Poker run, Truck Wars, Chili Cook off, and many other events. In the past we have had Peterson's 4 Wheel & Off Road magazine with us. You can find it in the October 2002 issue. In May we will be having JP magazine with us thanks to our President David. We are a friendly group that are excited to see more members join us. I would also like to add that we are a club that practices safety to all our abilities. I have added a few things that may answer a few questions that you may have. The following segment was taken from the Moonlight Stompers 4x4 Club's Membership By-Laws and Rules. We are a non-profit organization that was founded for the purpose of: A.) Provideing educational and recreational activities for its members. B.) Participating in civic activities for the betterment of our communities. C.) Assist the local authorities with rescue operations, crisis situations, natural disasters, etc. We have Administration and Officers which are elected every two years. Applicants for membership: 1.) Only owners of four-wheel drive vehicles and their households will be eligible for membership. 2.) Special elections will be held by the Executive Committee to approve membership of non-owners. 3.) Limitations of non-owner membership will be at the discretion of the Executive Committee. 4.) Applicants must: A.) Be 18 years or older B.) Be sponsored by one or more members in good standing. C.) Attend one meeting and one event with his or her sponsor before submitting an application for membership. D.) Voted into club with majority vote (51%). 51% of members must be present at meeting. Dues are 110.00 per membership year; $10.00 goes to the United Four Wheel Drive Association annual charter fee. Membership year is april 1 thru march 31. Dues are non-refundable. Rules of Membership: 1.) New members must come to the first three meetings, after their dues are paid, as a probationary period. If you do not, dues will be forfeited. 2.) All members must act in a responsible manner when displaying the Moonlight Stompers 4x4 Club name or logo. 3.) Members causing a fight or maliciously destructing property will be subject to the following consequences: A.) A vote will be held by the Executive Committee to recall membership. B.) You will be held legally responsible for all damages, fines or court actions. 4.) Members must have a membership card with them at all events. 5.) Members will assist in all fund raisers and events put on by the club. 6.) All Members must submit a change of address to Secretary A.S.A.P. 7.) Members will have one decal in Plain view on their Vehicals. 8.) Members Must have tow strap ( prefere 6" for safety reasons) 9.) Non-members may not drive members' vehicals at events unless approved by Executive Committe. 10.) If you violate the Rules Agreement of the Moonlight Stompers 4x4 Club you will be banned from all events of the club, and lose all rights to use the Moonlight Stompers 4x4 Club name and logo.
