| standing on the edge above the shimmering sea I cry tears fall from my cheeks to the sea they hide wishing that my love would come back to me is this how I want my life to be? the whispers of the wind flow through my hair a secret they keep with each other except me they share my love's face appear before my eyes as I thought of you in my heart forced to separate miles away from each other we had to depart standing all alone on the ednge watching the night sky falls I shiver in the wind and once more your name I call I won't move on, I stand, until I hear your loving sound the calm of the wind had started to died down a shuffled noise came from behind, stepped forward and on my shoulders arms started to wrap around I turned and there you stood without a sound I blinked, wiped my eyes and reach my arms out to you. Is it true? Is it really you? I held my breath as you wipe my tears my heart accelerate, it is true, you are really here! we wrapped our arms around each other and cry our eyes out through my teary eys and unsoundable neck I asked "how?" "Destiny" "Do you still want me?" inside my stillness is broken, my heart recovered destiny had brought us together I nodded, smiled, kissed, hugged you on the edge with the sky looming behind us, we stood inside our heart the love we had glowed and you whisper to me "and this time it's for good" |
