Forlorn
Forlorn I wait,
In the isolated cave I stand,
Craving human companionship,
The eerie silence does nothing,
to comfort my pain.
I cry in the darkness.
Tears stream endlessly,
down my face,
but no one can hear my sorrow.
Tortured by the unwavering time
I wait for a sound,
A voice to end my agony.
Shadows surround me,
Closing over me like a sea of blackness
Drowning in loneliness,
no hands grasped to save me.
I sank engulfed by the sea.
Alone I am....

Effervescent Moon
A velvety purple light weaves through
the ominous darkness of a stormy sky
With a rush of the feirce wind, the        sable clouds are torn apart to reveal the
luminous misty moon.
Pouring down rays,
of soft eerie light,
to dance and glisten on the
frothy white water as it
crashes over the jagged rocks.
Menacing figures in the distance
cry out to be noticed in the shadows.
Guarded by two towers flecked with
gold,
The scence is framed forever
to hold the astonishing sight.
This is for Raistlen (dragonlance dude):
Raistlen
He sits alone in the darkness of
his tower, loving the solitude. He likes no one, no one likes him-they fear him.
He lights a small candle and lifts it high. The light flickers on his golden skin and silver hair before pouring over the rest of the room, spreading like locusts. His hourglass eyes scan his chamber cluttered with precious and ancient spell books.
Unlike others, he is wise beyond his age and is more powerful than the godess,
Takhisis. He is a sullen figure in a dark tower and wears nothing but black robes to signify his magic of darkness.
It's only night around his tower-palpable fear and intence terror, cursed long ago. The moon shines softly, aloft in the sky as a cool wind blows, such as the nights he would stand atop his fortress and whisper to the world, " Soon ....soon you'll be mine!"
He clutches his staff of Magius as though it was his flesh and blood, never leaving its side. It's powerful and gives him comfort of the past.
Staring out the empty eye sockets of the tower, people feel bare under his watchful gaze. " I do not trust him" most whisper. His sly ways and vicious sarcastic behaviour and his delight in inflicting pain does more than to keep the people terrified. No one dares to enter the forest that surrounds his fortress.
" I'm alone" he would smile.
"Alone..."
