Summary: This book contains the first five acts of Sailor Moon. We meet the first four soldiers (Moon, Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter) and Tuxedo Mask, and also Queen Beryl and Metallia, the enemy. Jadeite and Nephrite are met and defeated.

Review: I love the Sailor Moon manga. They're just incredible. The story is a lot darker and more serious than the anime's, and I love how it's told. If you don't know, this is a fairly serious story that focuses around the super heroine Sailor Moon and her friends.The quality of the manga is pretty bad - the ink comes off on your hands, and the artwork goes off the page a lot. But Naoko Takeuchi's artwork is incredible - the characters are so vivid. Plus, there are a lot of extra little doodles or notes from the author. I highly recommend these.

Review: This book contains acts six through nine. The soldiers meet up with Sailor Venus, meet and defeat Zoicite, meet Kunzite, and discover who the real princess is. Tuxedo Mask is taken away by the enemy, and we learn more about the past in the Moon Kingdom.

Name: Sailor Moon Manga Vol. 3

Review: This book contains the next three acts, but is still about as long as the others. In it, the five soldiers visit the moon and learn more about their past. Bunny meets the brain washed Darien and battles him in order to heal him. Kunzite is defeated, and the soldiers begin the final battle with Metallia.

Name: Sailor Moon Manga Vol. 4

Review: This contains acts 14-18 (although the Tokypop misnumbers them in the manga). It contains the end of the first story arc and the beginning of the next. Rini is introduced, as well as the next set of villains, the Dark Moon. Catzi, Bertie, and Prizma are met and defeated, but this leads to the loss of Raye, Amy, and Lita.

Review: This book contains acts 17-19, plus Rini's Picture Diary. The three acts contain an intorduction to Sailor Pluto and the sailors' journey to the future, Crystal Tokyo. Avery is met and defeated. In Rini's Picture Diary, Rini begins school and meets a vampire in her class. With the help of the sailors, she defeats the vampire, making some new friends.

Review: This contains acts 20-22. A lot happens in these three acts - Bunny is captured by the enemy and brought to their base, where she finds the three captured soldiers, Rini is changed to Black Lady, and a great battle takes place.

Review: This book contains only two acts, 23 and 24, but a lot happens. Sailor Pluto sacrifices herself to save everyone, Rini returns to herself and transforms into a soldier, and Wise Man is defeated, ending the second story arc. Then we are introduced to the next set of villains, as well as Haruka Tenou and Michiru Kaioh, beginning the third story arc.

Review: This book contains acts 25-28. The scouts meet Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, and they aren't sure if they are friends or enemies. Rini befriends a strange girl name Hotaru Tomoe, we meet Setsuna Meioh, and one who was thought to be dead returns....

Name: Sailor Moon manga volume 9

Review: This book contains acts 29-32. Sailor Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto explain their mission to the others, and Sailor Saturn is revealed. Sailor Moon transforms to Super Sailor Moon. Mistress 9 awakens, and Hotaru fights back.
