Why did I make this page?
Because I only know one person who can understand my ramblings on Gohan and Tenchi and gundams and Sailor Senshi. Everyone else, I just know from the internet and not 'real life'. So I just needed another outlet for my anime creativity.
Plus, there are tons of excellent pages out there, but none with exactly the right combination of stuff for me. And there are some things that I want to see that I never have.
So, being independent and creative, not to mention bored at the prospect of another long summer with friends that are mostly out of town, I decided to make a webpage with Japanese stuff!!! What fun! At least, I'm enjoying it. Are you?
Why "Space Crater"?
Actually, no particular reason. I just wanted something creative that had to do with something astronomical. At first, I had the name Lunar Kitty Crater, but then I decided that Space Crater sounded better, and since I had decided that the site was due for a major face-lift anyway, I changed it.
Why are there dub/Japanese names/terms?
I know a lot of people are bothered by the fact that I mix dub and Japanese stuff, but that's just how I operate. I'll try to just use one or the other, but since I use bothin real life I'll sometimes make mistakes. So just let me know if you come across something like, "Usagi and Ami were talking to Lita about the Heart Snatchers" or "Michelle thought that Hotaru was a member of the Death Busters", because that's very bad. But if it's just a Japanese word I threw in like senshi or kawaii, visit my Mini Dictionary and deal with it.
You use Japanese names and stuff, but you talk mostly about the dub, so are you a dubbie or a subbie?
Dubbie!!! I use Japanese terms a lot because I've just gotten so used to seeing it on everyone's webpages and because I do watch some things subbed.. But I am a dubbie, because that's what I watch. I'll probably always be a dubbie, unless I somehow win a million bucks, but then I'd probably still watch the dubs, because I actually have respect for the things! *coughs* Sorry about the mini-rant...
What's with the Sanrio stuff everywhere?
Well, first of all Hello Kitty is an anime. It's just been really Americanized so that no one thinks about it. Second of all, Geocities (my host) comes well supplied with Sanrio goodies, so I use them sometimes to make my life easier. Besides, they're so kawaii!
