| 1,000 years ago there was a period of time called the Silver Millennium, it was when the Earth's Moon and all the other planets were at peace. Queen Serenity was the ruler of the Moon Kingdom. She had one daughter, Princess Serenity. There was no evil forces present at that time, or so they thought... During this time Princess Serenity of the Moon, met Prince Endymion of the Earth, and they fell in love. Though their happiness didn't last for long. The people of the Earth started to be controlled by Queen Beryl, who filled them with negative energy. And then the Moon and the Earth were to go to war. Supposedly the people of the Earth were jealous that the people of the moon could live for 1,000 years. And the prince of the earth, fought along side the moon, for his princess, against his own planet. But before he went off to fight, the princess gave him her star locket so that he would never forget her. In the end, Queen Beryl asks him to join her, and rule together. He refuses and say's his place is with Serenity. So she kills him and the princess.(Anime). She kills him, and then Serenity kills herself.(Manga). Queen Serenity saddened by her daughter's death sent her and the prince, along with her court(the scouts/senshi), and Luna and Artemis her advisors into the future, to be re-born on earth. Using the power of the silver millenium crystal, she had no strength left and died. | ||||||
