| What should I have on my altar? This is up to you. Your altar is your personal magick space. you can put anything you would like on it. Most altars have the elements on it. What is an athame and should I have one? An athame is a notorious witches dagger. Traditionally it is black-handled knife with an approximately twelve inch double-side blade. You do not need an athame as you can use a wand to cast a circle, but I think an athame adds a witchy touch. Do you have any good spells? I have a range of spells on this site. Some of the spells are from my personal B.O.S COOOOL. Do you have any good recipes for incence? One of my favouite old mystic recipes is for moon fire incense, which can be used in a number of spells. At midnight on a full moon mix together a tablespoon of frankincense, with a teaspoon of sandle wood powder and a dash of thyme in a china bowl. Add a drop of jasmine oil and stir with a silver spoon as you say "Goddess luna and god of fire charge this potion with your power" Cover the bowl with a red cloth and leave for 24 hours befor use.
