This isn't exactly a recipe (not "receipe", btw) for lip gloss, you're just adding lipstick and flavoring to petroleum jelly. Petroleum jelly isn't my idea of a lip gloss as it is too greasy and wears off quickly. I guess it can be handy if you don't want to make a simple glossy lip balm as a base to add the lipstick to and you don't mind the source and properties of petroleum jelly. Adding cinnamon oil is a bad idea since it is a skin sensitizer. Many aromatherapists do not advocate the use of cinnamon oil on the skin, even highly diluted, and I agree. If you are going to use it, do so in extremely minute quantities as it is an incredibly strong oil. Peppermint or spearmint "candy oils"? I would guess these could possibly be essential oils. Peppermint is a very strong oil, so use it in minute quantites. I can't comment on spearmint oil since I intensely dislike the scent and have never worked with this essential oil.
