| Circle casting Casting a circle is an important step to take befor a spell but it is not always needed.Mental and Physical prepartion does effect your Magickal experiences. When casting you need to find a place where you will be undistribed.You then place your tools onto your altar,or close at hand if your outside.Note your Altar should be in a position of East to west with you facing north. Hold your hads in the Goddess Postion ,or if Using a Wand,point it towards the North ,Visualise white light coming from your Wand or hand,and slowly start walking in a clockwise fashion.As you walk say, "this circle is formed of Love and Light,let it be a positive place and a protective sheild." Walk the circle a second time, saying, "Let this circle keep all within safe from harm,Let no harm enter in." Walk the circle a third time and say, "Within this circle may my spells be cast well and true." Now do whatever magickal workings you wish,remember always to thank the Goddess and God for their influences,when you are ready to open the circle face North and trace a Pentacle in the air, then walk the circle in a counter clockwise direction and say, "the spells I have cast have begun,Let this circle be undone, Let the powers released from within ,do no harm to anyone .So mote it be!" |
