Victorian Wreath Ornament

Materials:
1/2" plastic ring
Worsted weight yarn - small amount - colors of your choice.
#10 thread
Size H crochet hook.
#5 steel hook
Ribbon Rose
Pin back
Magnet strip - for fridgie
Tacky glue
Yarn needle

Wreath:
With WW yarn and H hook, attach yarn to ring with slst,
Rnd 1 - work 20 sc around ring, join to 1st sc with a slst.

Rnd 2 - Working in back loop only, work 3 dc in each sc around, join to 1st sc with a slst. End off, weave in ends.

"Lace Trim":
With #10 thread and # 5 steel hook, attach thread to any front loop from rnd 1 with a slst,
ch 3, dc in same st, *ch 3, work sc in 3rd ch from hook (picot made), 2 dc in next front loop*,
repeat * thru * around, ending with, ch 3, work sc in 3rd ch from hook (picot made), slst to top of beg ch 3.
End off, weave in ends.

Clip wire from ribbon rose up to point where wrapping starts to thicken. Apply a \tab thin layer of glue to paper wrapping so it won't unravel. Allow to dry.
Slip stem of ribbon rose between any 2 sc sts above lace trim, apply small dab of glue, under rose and section of stem sticking out through back of wreath. Bend rose down in front and do same with stem in back.
Hold in place for about 15sec, then set aside till dry.

Finish with hanger, pin back, or magnet strip.
