Most country homes on the net say Be Original. But a lot of
people don't really know what that means, and some people take it out
of context. What most people mean is that the graphics they use on
their pages are drawn by one individual, and that individual retains
the copyright to that graphic. That graphic is to only be used in
the way that the artisit said it may be used. It may not be copied,
reproduced, or altered in any way. Some people now require a fee to
use their original graphics because of the long struggle they have
endured against rude people on the net. People that don't respect
others. A lot of people are unaware of the lack of respect on the
net, and a lot of those that are aware, don't care.
I have a great admiration and respect, not only for original
graphic artists, but for original web sites too. Yes, not only do
graphics get copied, sites do too. If you don't yet have a home on
the net, you should really look at the original graphics, they are
really cute, and when you build your little net home, be sure to
bee original. Of course a site can't be completely original,
we all have those about me pages, but if you respect others,
and are true to yourself, then originality is sure to shine through. And if you already have a home on the net then please make sure, if you are using original graphics, that you are respecting the artists.
Remember... being original is being unique... and if we fill the net
with all our uniquness, think of how intresting it would be ºÜº
