I have two children, Amber Renea and Jaramy Vaughn. I am married to Bill since 1999.
I have been an LPN, a stage hand for a local IATSE-260 out of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
I have worked in Printing companies. I have been in the military-Army, Air Force, and National Guard. Ever since I was 6 years old I wanted to be a soldier and a nurse. I joined the Army at 18 and used my GI Bill to go into nursing.
I now enjoy working with a healing modality called Reiki. I have just become a Reiki Master and now can teach Reiki to others. Reiki is a type of Energy Healing. Those of us who do Reiki are just a conduit for the energy from God/Spirit/Creator. Whomever you choose as your supreme being. I use Reiki on myself. Since I started working on myself, I no longer need anything for arthritis pain. I am virtually pain free. Reiki energizes you, it balances you, it helps with the healing process.
I have traveled to several states and lived in several more. I am happy wherever I live and find good in all things and people. I respect all belief systems.
We have several Parrots, A Blue and Gold Macaw named Gale, An African Grey (Congo) named Casper, an Umbrella Cockatoo named Pepper-Dr. Pepper for short. A Double Yellow Head Amazon named Sammy (she loves to bite!!). Then, we have 2 Cockatiels named T3 Short for Topper 3. And Louie, Short for Talouse LaTrec-the artist. We also have a Black Lab named Caribbean Lady Sadie and a cat named Cinnamon (thought he was a she until she/he was fixed!)
We had a snake until my daughter moved to her own place.
We live in NorthWest Florida. Yes, we get some of the hurricanes here. We received unwillingly Ivan, Dennis, and a few others. Sure made a mess of our trees!
I miss the Fall colors and the season changes from the Midwest. I like living near the Gulf (5 minutes away) I love the mountains of California, Utah, Colorado. I love the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
