This is just for my Misto costume, if you would like more information on the whole process from scratch, please go back and see my Victoria section.

Dying your unitard-
Okay, since I am turning my Vicki costume into a Misto one this is what I did. This is just for dying your unitard one color. I got a bottle of black liquid RIT dye at Wal-Mart. It's $2.53 with tax. You only need one bottle of the liquid dye and you get a nice dark color. In my case a nice dark black. I got my uni, took off the shoulder fuzz and got a container big enough to dye my uni in. You want to wear rubber gloves while you dye it, unless you want your hands to be dyed too. Do this outside!! The container I had was the small metal trashcan that we keep bird seed in. I washed out the can and put my uni in it. Prepare the dye according to the directions. I poured in the hot water and the dye. I stared dying my uni. Stir for 30 minutes. When I was done with that, I took my uni out of the trash can and set it aside. (Be sure to have a spot that you don't mind getting dye on ready.) I poured out the dirty water and put the uni back in the can. I grabbed the water hose and ran clean water over the uni. I reached in and started to squeeze the extra water and dye out of the uni. I emptied the can and started doing the same thing over. Do this over and over until you can see to the bottom of your container three times in a row. That means that the extra dye is out. It doesnt matter if the water is like a pale pink cause youre making a Bomba costume, as long as you can see straight down to the bottom of the container, that means the extra dye is out. Take out the uni and squeeze out the extra water. Put the uni in the dryer for 50 minutes to an hour to dry. When the uni is out of the dryer, hang it on a hanger and let it air dry over night. Or you can hang it up and let it drip dry outside in the sun for the day.

Shoulder fuzz- I got this is my Vicki section too, but this time I am cutting my fur into strips and sewing it all on by hand. I went back to Wal-Mart and in thier arts and crafts section, found some white and black fake fur. I bought two of each color for $3.00 (that's with tax) each.
I then took them home and proceeded to cut up the black fur for my shoulders, so that when you rubbed my shoulders the fur would go down. The right shoulder is done and took three strips to do. I sewed them on using a needle and black thread, that way it would blend in. The left shoulder has been started and needs two more strips.
I have finished the shoulder fuzz and am now starting on the chest fur. A word to the wise, sewing the fur on by hand, is a pain and takes a long time! If you have a sewing machine
USE IT!!
