| Saw CATS again today. :) Had floor seats which rocked, we had a much better view this time and I called dibs on the asile seat. Good thing I did too because as the overture was going on, the cast were running up and down the asiles and I got to see them all really well. Forget about the stage and all the cool stuff that's going on there, I'm turning around in my seat and watching the cats run around. The ones that I imeditantly knew who they were were: Victoria, Misto, Demeter, Munkustrap, Mungojerrie and I think a couple of the kittens. When they switched on the glowing cat eyes on their wigs, the crowd gasped and clapped and then they ran by again and we got on with the show. During the first half of the first act there were these people that came in late and one couple that couldn't figure out that |
| they needed to both scoot down a seat so that the others could sit down. They didn't get it until I hissed "Move down a seat!". And yes, I really did do that, this is my favorite show, I won't have it be messed around with and having to watch around you, really sucks. To the people that showed up late and as luck would have it, all this took place in the row in front of us, I have this to say:
This is why you get here early so you know where your damn seat is. Now sit the hell down, I paid to see CATS, not to watch you fumble for your seat. Anyway, moving on... The last time I saw this show was back in 2001 and this time it's a whole new cast, so that was cool, got to see new versions of the kitties. :) |

| The pyramid fun to watch and Vicki's solo dance was once again kick ass live but even better closer up. Misto was good but at first I didn't think much of his voice, too spoiled by Jacob I guess. Munkustrap had to chase Jenny around a bit during her song to put her coat back on her and one of the toms did his best to annoy her with his fork while they were tap dancing.
Macavity's costume was kinda ropey not furry and I didn't like his wig, not wild enough. Nice laugh though and watching Alonzo and Munk kick his butt was fun. Mungo and 'Teazer were fun to watch, Teaze got kinda sassy during their number and reminded me of Jo Gibb. Misto was fun to watch and he still reminds my mom of a black cat we used to have called Sambo. I agree with her, watching Misto jump and dance around the stage, was kinda like watching a real cat. 29 turns on the conjuring turn, that was awsome, mom lost track around 27, she got distracted. Vicki was playing with some of the streamers that Misto made appear to that might have been it. |
| When they were doing Rum Tum Tugger's song, the lady he danced with in the audience seemed more then happy to dance with him. The last time, the lady was really embarassed to. Dude, if I had been closer, I so would have danced with him. One thing I didn't like about Tugger was his voice, a little to high for Tugger. Watching him flirt with and reject Bombalurina, fun, he so deserved it when she came on to him at the end and then rejected and steped on him. When I was getting autographs, I said that to the lady playing Bomba and she agreed with me, also said she had the pleasure of stepping on Tugger. :)
Also, got to see Old Deuteronomy and Grizabella as they walked around the ground floor, waved hi to Deuteronomy too. Okay, enough show talk, what did I buy and who's autograph did I get. I bought another shirt, (logo on front, eyes in back)another program and a hat (done like the shirt). They had hoodies, might get one next time. And next time if I can, I plan on going in full costume. This time I just did my face up like Rumpleteazer (video cast). Had a few people stare at me and had some of the cast ask who I was |

| and say they liked my make up. I was also the only one there in make up, last time there was a couple of kids in costume.
So waiting outside the stage door for autographs and taking pictures, step dad did most of those will post them when they're developed.
