Cardass Cards
Quick Guide
*Card will probably say Bandai on the back, by the copywrite info, but I'm not certain that every card has it in english.
*Every regular card has a prismatic (or at list foil) symbol on it, USUALLY at the bottom left or bottom right of the IMAGE (keep this in mind for cards with sideways images, such as this one. Occasionally there will be a symbol at the top of an image, but this is quite rare.
*Every card has one of the Sailor Moon series logos on it, depending on which series its image is from.
Set Details:
Set 1: The regular cards in this set look a lot like the cards in PP set 1, and in fact, some have the same image. The difference is easy to see, however: whereas a PP card has the "Moon Power" on it, the carddass cards have a prismatic symbol of either a high-heeled shoe, a crescent moon, or a bow. Compare, for example, this pp card with this carddass card.
Set 2-5: In this set, the prismatic symbols are the planetary symbols. For the four inner senshi they are within a box, also prismatic (example), whereas for Sailor Moon, the symbol is within a circle (example).
Set 5-7: Now there is a silouette of Princess Serenity in the bottom left corner with a planetary symbol in it. If the picture features one of the inner senshi (including moon), the color of the siloutte and the symbol will be that senshi's. I have, however, found a few mistakes: set 7, card #253 is a picture of Makoto, but the color (blue) and symbol are mercury's. Card #274 has moon's color and symbol, but it is a picture of Minako-- disguised as Sailor Moon.
Set 8: This also has the silouette, but in this set Chibi-Moon gets a symbol and color-- a smaller crescent moon than Sailor Moon's, and a lighter shade of pink. There are also several cases where an outer senshi's color and symbol appear, but this is a mess; some times they appear on a different senshi, and sometimes the outersenshi have inner senshi symbols. For example, Pluto has five cards in this set, and her symbol is used twice-- but not with her picture.
Set 9: There are more outer senshi images, but this time no outer senshi symbols/colors are used.
Set 10: The silouette changes. It is now the torso of Sailor Moon and the torso of Chibi-Moon, like so. More mistakes, where the color and symbol are used with the wrong senshi. Card #377 not only has the wrong symbol and color, but the symbol and color don't even match each other!!
