Well, a lot of people e-mail me saying that they don't really know who Yaten is, and some people don't get the starlight stuff. So here is a breifing on the Starlights. There are two completely different versions of this but we'll start with
The Anime: The starlights were three women that lived on a distant planet, Kinmoku, with their beloved princess, Kakyuu. Galaxia, a really evil girl, came and destroyed her planet in search of star seeds, a little crystal thing inside your body. She's looking for the 'true star seed' but I don't really know why-_-; The starlights, Seiya, Taiki, and Yaten, escape in the form of shooting stars to the planet earth, where their princess had fled in the attack. They turned into men (I have no idea how they did this) and formed a band called the Three Lights. The propose of the band is to find the Princess and secret messages are contained in their songs. They turned into boys because they thought it would be easier for a guy to find a girl than for a girl to find a girl. They decided to become famous because they wanted every girl on this planet to know them, so they could find the girl they were looking for, Princess Kakyuu.
The Manga:
The starlights were four women living on a distant planet, Kinmoku. The fourth starlight was Sailor Star Kakyuu, which is basically the same thing as Princess Kakyuu. When Galaxia came and yada yada it's up in the anime section. So anyway, they starlights (minus Kakyuu) go to earth. Now here's the catch. In the manga, they NEVER turn into boys. They merely dress as boys and everything thinks they're boys, but they are not boys!! The perfect disguise too, I mean, who would suspect a guy of fighting evil in a leather bikini? But then at the end of the Manga *sob* they die! *starts crying hysterically* How come they had to die?! Waaaa!
