...Fruffy...

He spread his wings... Oh, they were beautiful!
And off he flew.... on a mission dutiful.

He soared away from his place of sadness,
He flew... on wings of total gladness.
And as he winged his way to her,
so fast.... he seemed as though a blur....
The look of Fruffy changed, it seemed.
His body proud..... his face? It beamed!

He landed, with all of dragon's grace,
and a dragon smile crossed his face.
She was lonely, and as she told him,
she asked if maybe she could hold him.
He took her hand and warmed her heart,
he swore to her they'd never part.
Told her he would stay with her forever,
would she'd be lonely? Never, never!!
He held her.. wrapped her in his wings,
and told her of so many things.
All the things she longed to hear,
Fruffy whispered them in her ear.
And then, as all good dragons do,
he picked her up....and off they flew!
Fruffy's heart was filled with song,
he'd yearned for this, so very long.
And hours later, when they landed,
he gave her a rose, as though he'd planned it.
And while a proud mom watched from afar,
quiet, so their happiness not to mar...
She shed a tear... this time, of joy!
So proud was she, of her grown dragon boy...
While Fruffy and his love, so dear,
whispered words that only they could hear.
Then, off they went, where dragons go...
to talk of tales told long ago.
