| Since the beginning the lands of Djarorin were popullated mostly by the Mystrians which were made mostly up of Spirit races. The races included the Gatans, Lycans, Canids, Centaurs, Avions, Vulpines, Cervs, Sciurs, and many others including Dragons. For the most part there were humans but their culture was smaller. Mystrians loved peace and harmony, preferring to live in tune with nature then against it. However times change and with this change things happen for good or for worse. With time the humans whom were once the sparsest race soon became the most prominent. Humans, as a whole, prefer control of things. Many discovered that the Mystrians were not the only ones who could wield magic, whether it be Necromancy, or magic. Discovering this power they began to form a hierarchy, placing the human race above all else, and they made up the roles of rank and power. Those who had magic (and were human) being the most powerful. The humans then began to fight amongst themselves and some Mystrians, outlawing magic and making it punishable by death alone. Other humans ruled with such an iron thumb that rebellion against them was outlawed and thus a crime. Perhaps the most stunning out of all of them was the technological advancements that have begun to replace magics role. Slavery was common anywhere, but no humans were slaves, instead it was the gentle races of the Mystrians that suffered under that burden. Perhaps the most shinning light among this darkness was that not all humans were like this, many wanted to live in peace with the Mystrians and thus began helping them to save the lands that were on shaky grounds, their magic fading out as greed and gluttony progressed. With particular members of humanity abusing the land, the inhabitants, and the magic, it seems this land is fated to lose its enchantment and freedom, and to fall into a warring, power-struggle. |
