History:
Simon is the seventh and youngest son of King Damienthros. All seven children (5 boys, 2 girls) were born to 5 different women. Simon's mother was the only one who has since died. Damienthros was not present as much of a father to any of the children, and so it was the mothers who mainly cared for them. Being the only child without a mother, Simon was left in the secondary care of his eldest brother's mother, the 'prefered wife' to the king. She treated him poorly, because he wasn't her own. None of the wives were kind to the children that were not their's, because of jealousy and competition. Simon was the black sheep of his family, and after 16 years of horrible existence, Damienthros sent him to live with his Uncle, Serevin, and his cousin, Juno.
Juno was the first to show him care, and Simon, young and longing for female affections, won her over. The cousins began a forbidden affair with each other under Serevin's nose. Juno would call it 'helping Simon become a man,' while Simon called it 'love'. It was Simon's naievity that got them caught, as he confessed his love for his cousin to Serevin, who abruptly sent him away. Once the news reached Damienthros, the king disinherited his youngest son, labeled him the 'bastard prince', and forced him to live away from the rest of the royal family. When Simon turned 18, he demanded he be allowed to go to war as a part of Serevin's Mage Army. He was granted the request and met with Juno and Serevin again. Of course, the flower of love for his older cousin had wilted completely. He soon found a more mature relationship with a young mage girl named Mina, but remained close to Juno as her confidant. He never claimed to 'love' again.
Powers: Elemental magic (mainly pyrokinesis); telekinesis.
Weakness: Time magic, light magic, and can still be injured by elementals.
Personality: Like the rest of his family, Simon has many layers to him. He could tell himself a lie, know it's a lie, and talk himself into believing it. He's a tortured soul suffereing from a decent heart. He cares about a select few, and has his own dreams and hopes, but he tries to bury that part of himself under a mask of sarcasm and disinterest.
Physical Description:
Simon is an attractive prince. Tall, athletic, with a toned body. He has short dark hair with long sweeping bangs that frequently fall into his eyes. He doesn't smile often, but when he does, it's been said to make girls weak in the knees. He has honey-bronze eyes that give him that warmth that few would expect to see in a relative of Serevin.
Special Devices/Weapons: A set of pistols that shoot special M.M. bullets; a double-ended sword (It's a grip with a sword coming out each end).
