History:
Very little is known about Serevin and his past. All that is known is that he is the older brother of King Damienthros, and was denied the title of heir to their father's throne. Of course, it's said that he and Damienthros plotted together and were responsible for their father's assassination that led to Damien becoming the Human King. With his brother on the throne, Serevin was free to conduct whatever experiments he desired, including those that eventually created Manufactured Magic. Very few Humans could possess natural or spiritual magic, and so M.M. became the means by which Serevin built up his Mage Army. The process of bonding M.M. to Humans is potentially fatal, and in the beginning only 1/4 of those who risked it survived. Now 3/4 of those attempting to bond with it survive the procedure. His initial army of Mages was what he led into the Ariel War 30 years ago, which in Humans and Mystrians both suffered defeats, but there was no victor.
. Little is known about how he fathered his daughter, Juno. He was never married and gave no hint that he was involved with anyone. Rumors have it that her mother was a Mystrian who Serevin killed shortly after Juno's birth. The fact she is his daughter is only known by a handful, and most of his army doesn't even know. He is, from start to finish, a man of many dark, demented and perverse secrets.
Powers: The true extent of his powers is unknown, since very few have seen him in battle. He is powerful enough, though, that he has retained the title of High Mage.
Weakness: The Ariel Stone (which is secretly in Lord Traitorin's possession). He is also susceptible to time magic and light magic.
Personality: He doesn't really have one, or rather, not one easily put into words. He's border-line insane, if not completely off his rocker. He's pitiless and heartless, and disinclined to reason.
Physical Description:
Serevin is normally hidden under a hood and behind a mask of leather and metal. His right arm was lost below the elbow in the Ariel War and was fixed with a metal forearm and gauntlet-like hand. He is a large man, very muscular and intimidating to look at when dressed in his robes and armor. Usually he will flaunt victories by wearing the tails and fangs of Mystrian leaders he's killed in different pieces of his wardrobe and jewelry..
Special Devices/Weapons: His gauntleted hand is a weapon all its own with overwhelming crushing power and provides him with inhuman strength in that arm. He also uses a sword when he has to.
